As a social worker I have recieved an enormous amount of cultural safety training in Indigenous perspectives over the past 10 years. Elaine's personalization of her experience and how it relates to history and settler systems is deeply illuminating. She gently but persuasively demonstrates how western systems disallow us to pause and question material protocols that do not meet our mental emotional needs day to day.
