Today I left Baguio for Manila and wanted to try the Philippine's newest bus. Victory line now offers a royal class bus for 1500 peso which is just 500 more than the first class and is a very comfy and enjoyable experience

It's my first time seeing like this bus there, they're improving a lot,thank you Tom for sharing your experience traveling to Baguio and transportation there either, while traveling back you can sleep in the bus, always stay safe and more adventure in Philippines.
Nice bus, I've seen those types of luxury buses in other SEA countries and every person has mentioned how nice they are but the corridors are very narrow, but that just means the seats/ beds are a bit wider.

Hey Tom, when in baguio, if money permits, camp john hay is where the magic is, in the mountains, in the forest, no crowds, cool weather, and really nice peaceful vibes
Wow! I was in the PI in 1976, rode a V Liner to Manila from Subic and it was literally a 50’s era beat to hell school bus. The roads were paved in a few places, folks getting on with chickens and all types of farm animals…and I mean all types. However I have nothing but fond memories of it all, a new adventure at every stop. Man to be young and traveling again…

The Philippines have introduced a luxury royal class bus to travel between Baguio to Manila. It seems super comfortable & an enjoyable way to travel. Dig those reclining seats. Hopefully we'll have this in Canada soon. IN the meantime I'll settle for super comfortable train service which is not to shabby.
Next time you have to rent a scooter and do the north Luzon loop the best roadtrip in the world. You have to start in Clark air base to avoid the Manila traffic.

Hey Tom ☘️ Take the Victory Liner bus to Olongapo city 2.5 hours from Manila, then from bus terminal short jeepney to Magsaysay Blvd. , lots of cheap hotels there, walking distance to SUBIC BAY NAVY BASE. Lots of restaurants and cafes. You can take Jeepney from Magsaysay blvd. to Bario Bareta, Baloy Beach, lots of great bars & restos. 👍

@@someguy861 that’s great especially in Ontario. We do have a Luxury Mountaineers Train from British Columbia to Alberta about $5000/person.

wow! for 54 euros with the same distance from rome to milan nobody gives me bottled water and empanada and cushion smells like feet. bus station full of roaming pick pockets and nowhere to sit and .70 euro cents to use the toilet in the station, toilet in the bus always broken and smells like someone pooped and then died in there, lights don't work so you gonna pee in the dark so memorize where you'll aim before you close the door or you'll wet the entire toilet including yourself coz space is so small! every now and then cops bother you for documents and they are not charming about it.
YEA > really sucks there - doesn't it ?!? Price is amazing in the Philippines ! -- Saw about a 5 hour ride in a terrific luxury bus - even with food along the way - for $20 > Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. Superb comfort and with a crew serving water & food !!! / Toilet also.

I'm 6' 2'' - and that space looks like it would hurt ! -- (260 lbs) -- Ouch !!! --?-- Too far for my comfort it appears. --- Don't forget TOM - I want to see -- Tagaytay -- remember ??? - - - It's much closer and cheaper !!! + Such a beautiful place. I'm retiring there this fall. Near ideal for my liking - and many others too. Climate & food & scenery & fresh air - with fresh produce all year locally grown..........pineapples bananas coconuts strawberries coffee also --&-- few brown outs ! - - - For me - it's a place for my frugal old bones to relax in comfort and eat well the rest of my days enjoying beautiful scenery and fresh air !!!
