- Melissa, Kayla, and Gina get up on day 5 of their 4100-mile 16-day Motorcycle Adventure in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and head for Lake of the Ozarks Missouri to spend a day and a half touring that beautiful area of the country.

What is a trip without at least one issue (the story of Melissa's adventures anyway)? There was a problem with one of the motorcycles on the way to Lake of the Ozarks, and they made a visit to the Lake of the Ozarks Harley Dealership.
On day 6 they visited Ha Ha Tonka State Park and Castle Ruins, took a scenic ride around the Lake of the Ozarks, had dinner at JB Hooks in Lake Ozark, Missouri, and crossed the Bagnell Dam.
It was a great 2 days of the trip.

Thank God that a lot of truckers are also motorcyclist. They can be a guardian angle for bikers when they are on the open road in their trucks. Looks like your friends had been riding with her onto the bridge. Thank you to anyone who adopts a biker on the open road!

Yes, I monitor tire pressure. I monitor the gages, do a walk around every day and have an air pump with me. After a friend of ours had a blow out, I am very cautious about this.

I was kind of waiting for Kayla to respond, but since she has not.... She wants her own motorcycle but is trying to be responsible with her finances. Hopefully someday she will have her own motorcycle.
