Damn.. if Jonathan was taught Korean or learned some Korean, he might be able to talk to his mom at a deeper level maybe.. I can see she still not 100% comfortable in English.. the English she learned seems like its from co-workers and customers.. can tell all she did was just work and survive ever since she came to America.. she might've been the only Korean back in the 70's/80's.. people rarely knew about Korea back then. Probably went through her good share of racism/discrimination. Think the environment she was in might've made her feel insecure about her identity plus there was nobody there that understood her. Learn some Korean my man Jonathan and try to talk to her, bring her some Korean food and help her remember herself too.

I got it! I’m not one for a lot of icing or fundit, but I absolutely love CAKE POPS. As a foodie it don’t take more than one bite to recognize a party in your mouth. I am not a fan of crust either, but I am willing to try Yong’s bakery because he know it’s cooked in love and made from 💵 which is the gift that Mama Yong prefers. What is the availability this week of Thanksgiving?
