      Just finally got my 2022 Pursuit Premium Darkhorse Icon (Pearl White and Gloss Black with red accents) last Friday after a 6.5 month wait, thank you covid! Loving it and to be honest it's my 3rd Indian so I'm not surprised to be very happy! LOL Started with a 17 Roadmaster, then had a 2020 Challenger Ltd now the Pursuit gives me the best of both worlds!

    Been riding Indians since 2017, Springfield and now on a 2019 Roadmaster. Simply put the best bikes I’ve ever owned in my 50 years of riding.

      I've been riding Indians since 2018 and I agree. Test ridden hundreds of bike for channel videos and film projects outside my channel. Indian is the best, hands down. Lots of GOOD companies making GOOD bikes, but Indians are always a cut above the rest.

    Great review ! I just traded my 2022 Indian Roadmaster limited for a 2022 Pursuit Ltd with Premium pkg. This is now my 5th Indian. Your review was pretty much spot on. Comfort, wind protection, TECH, quality of ride are all top notch. I drive it like the old man I am (65 y/o) but I'm averaging 47 mpg after 2500 miles. It was an expensive bike but I think you get what you pay for with Indian. Just an FYI for shorter folks, I added the reduced reach bars, and what a difference it makes in riding comfort. I would highly recommend them.

    My persuit ships tomorrow, I'm going nuts. I have been on 750 Honda Shadow ACE since 2012, so it will be a big adjustment lol. How does the seat stack up and compare to the saddlemen road sofa?

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  2 года назад +2

      I think a road sofa is slightly better, but that's just me. For a $1500 custom seat, it should be. The seat that comes on the pursuit is definitely the best stock seat I have EVER tried. If I was getting one, I would be fine with that seat for a while. If you find you need more support, a backrest, gel core to dampen vibration and bumps, you can think about a saddlemen later. Some bikes you'd want a new seat immediately, the pursuit I wouldn't worry about.
      Congrats on the new bike! I'm pretty jealous 😁

      Never. And I just got back from Sturgis today. I was riding for hundreds of miles on this trip in temps that were over 105 degrees Fahrenheit outside. I was ready to die, but the Chieftain never overheated. Just kept right on charging. The Chieftain has an oil cooler installed (my model year it came pre-installed from factory) so I assume that is helping greatly. But even in those extreme temps for hours and hundreds of miles, it never broke a sweat.

    How does it feel to have you legs up front all the time, and be locked in in the seat? I was thinking of this vs BMW K1600GA where I can change legs position front to back (hugging the tank) in the twisties for a better handling, and even get a bit up off the seat if I like. Otherwise the Pursuit looks comfortable and fast.

      I planned to, Yamaha didn't bring any of their touring bikes to Americade, and for the bikes they did bring you were "forbidden" from taking video cameras on the ride. Yamaha were kinda unfriendly at Americade (which is mostly a touring bike rally). Hoping to find a dealer nearby with one or maybe Yamaha will pull themselves together for next year.
