Hi there. I have the same feature on my 740i. I have been told my car is 1 of 11 made with right sided steering wheel. I have a video with it workind after I re-calibrated it with Ista+ .This fearure is amazing especially for the year of production
Une option magique pour l'époque ! J'adorerai adapter ça sur mon e46, Est-ce que cela prend la main sur les freins pour ralentir ou uniquement avec le frein moteur ?
@@MecaLogic Our cars the same except of Navi and color, mine dak blue but we have PDC front and rear sensors, 7'' display etc, have cruise control and use it but havent knew about this option! can u explain how do u turn on this option, I'll be grateful?)
Hello. I have the same feature, but it doesn't work at the moment. I cannot calibrate it, since the reception between the mirror and the sensor is too weak. Is it too much to ask you to measure the acc sensor rough settings? You know what I mean if You google "bmw acc rough settings". It's the distance between base dimensions for the adjustment screws. Looking forward for your answer.
I complety modify the rough settings, I am not sure if it'will be useful for you. If the reception is too weak, try to change the mirror, try something with metal. The garage door worked fine for me
@@MecaLogic I'm using original calibration equipment. I just need some data to get the sensor settings right. I'm afraid someone with mad mechanic skills has altered the settings.
Crazy to see such features on a 20 year old car, even there are still many new cars that don't come with this features today in 2021
BMW and Mercedes had it from 98 ....

I just saw this post on a forum. Never knew it existed!
J’en reviens pas je ne savais pas du tout que des E38 avaient hérités d’une option si moderne.
This is such a cool feature! I never knew these cars had this option. I live in the US so my guess is that they weren’t sold with acc here
only EU models had this option :)
Love you Car, thx for sharing this cool feature!❤
Do you think it's possible to retrofit on E39?

Ca prends effectivement la main sur les freins pour ralentir !
Vous étiez sur l’air de Vitrolles ?
