The dude seems like he is on call 24/7 so maybe cut him some slack or maybe just say hey do think you could says “thanks for doing x y or z more”. Listening to all the things that were listed I do all those and more with no significant other to help on top of two kids. I think I would be pretty independent even having someone bc I am already used to doing basic responsibilities that I would just expect them to fulfill their own responsibilities. When I did have someone I would do their laundry bc I wanted them to relax after work even though they insisted I shouldn't bother with it. The person with more free time should be doing more. In my case I have little free time but I do it all. I like doing acts of service for others. In return I am perfectly okay with a thank you.

I’m in a relationship similar to you Miki and I’ve heard this comment many times. I think in the end you just have to think about how much this relationship matters to you and how much you value it. Yes it’s easy to be single and live life as a single person, but when will you come across another person with as many green flags as this one. Does a future with someone by your side matter to you? Ultimately I think about the balance of pros vs cons in a person, and if the person who is by my side is outweighing all the cons bc they are kind and loving and supportive, then that outweighs the little moments when we may get frustrated over little things. Even if you are single you will have moments of frustration, so why does it matter if you have these moments now but you are in a relationship. I hope you guys continue a happy healthy relationship 💓
