Jubair Ahmed the directional pattern is designed to disperse water when roads are wet. If fitted the opposite way to the sidewall instructions it will drag water in with a higher chance of aqua planing
Luke, only buy cars to do up and flip that you get that "feeling" for, otherwise you wont do them to your best. Dont cut corners, in this case the water pipe, but especially safety critical parts! This is just about ok for bottom end cars, but as you make your way up the car "ladder", this all becomes more important! Good start, look forward to where you go with flipping cars.
Hello Luke, Great transformation. You should make a tidy little profit. 👍 Sorry to hear you have laid off. I work in a factory that make hand sanitisers, soaps and disinfectants. Totally knackered with all the hours I am being forced to work. Stay safe everyone. 👍
Thx..job welldone...I'm considdering bying a ford fusion with few milage..under 40.000 miles. Reasons; just what you mentioned ..affordable, size..practical...Question: is there anything one can do about engine noise entering the cabin? thx again ..grtings from Holland
So is this what you're doing now? Using those money you made from this car to buy a better car needing work to make a quick profit etc, if so. Wicked idea! Something I've always wanted to do myself
Do you happen to know where the astra was first first registered? i used to work for Greenhous Vauxhall at the PDI centre where i also had my zafira from and will always remember the Y*** MRF plates as my Zafira was Y208 MRF, we used to have the cars come in on transporters and register them ourselves which involved assigning reg plates too.
Astra vs fusion well I’ve always liked the fusion in a way cuz my grandad had one pre facelift like urs it’s not a inspiring car but it’s a nostalgic as he has had it for 10 yrs it’s not with me anymore but will always miss it it was a rare one in red I’m I don’t like the face lifted version sm for the fiesta . I would have the fusion over Astra in my opinion good cheap car that will be practical and reliable and cheap to run u could have a 1.4 petrol or a 1.6 diesel petrol has 78 bhp and diesel 100 bhp and 1.4 diesel 68bhp and 1.6 petrol 100 bhp and 1.6 Diesel 89bhp
willing to swap a 2003 Mini Cooper S for your fiesta. I have 170,000 plus miles. I just want something economical for work and back and she just not serving me at the moment.
I have spent 130 quid on making it look pretty but bodged up the one thing that could kill that car dead that’s pissing out water seized the engine up and then someone’s just spent for 500 quid on a car that’s at the side of the motorway knackered bang an onyx is more reliability not how it looks if I was your fella I’ll sort the pipe out
So sick.. This car in this condition is worth at least £3.000 and in a nice and 6 month guarantee condition from a dealership it is worth at least £4.000 here in Denmark. lol
The cheapest one in Serbia is around 1450 euros. In a similar state that you fixed your up to be. It is so stupid that we have 5-8 times smaller wages on average than you guys, and yet it is so hard to come by to a used car for a decent price.
@@action963 it's they're built for not there, and yes if your purpose is shite, but hey! I've only been a mechanic for 38 years , what do I know !!! Tssss 🙈
The wheel at 3:13, yes it’s the wrong way around. I noticed after I fitted it and swapped them. I just didn’t refilm it, so it’s all safe now :)
We just bought a Fusion as a family run around, and I have to say, it's a real joy to drive.
Very noisy and bumpy, but It's fun.
Same here fun little car. Cheap as chips to run
A New ford Logo for the Front would top it.
3:13 I’d put that wheel on the offside as it is a directional tread pattern on the tyre
You’re right. I noticed it after filming and swapped them over :) they’re facing the right way now.
I don’t understand? Can you please explain

A good start Luke, I like the idea of this series, keep it up mate, stay safe too 👍

The noisy heater blower? Was it a stray leaf after all, bearings, or did it just go away by itself? You didn't say.
Great video Luke, nice job, hope theirs a bit of profit for you👍😀
Hi how did you remove the headlamp? Did you have to remove the bumper, no videos on RUclips for it
Great video luke. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Good vid Luke. Looking forward to the next one. What do you do in the factory?

Luke, what do you do about road tax and insurance while driving that about?
Looking forward to the next video pal
Hi Luke good video mate do you still get paid for that time off work
Do you still have the Audi A3 and A4
On footage it seems you put the tire wrong way... meaning rotation wise 🤔
Great video
Is this still for sale if so where?

Do a golf TDI Mk4
Well technically the Fiesta wheels are not certified on the Fusion as they have a different offset but nobody will notice.
Great video mate I think a wheeler dealer style would be great buy cheap to sell
Not bad 🔥
Decent progress Luke, shame you couldn't stretch out each job as an individual video mate, woulda been a good bit of content mate

My mums old car!
The fonze
You
Why waste your time with a fusion, save money and time and scrap them.
Fusions are great cars
@@action963 we all have our issues I suppose.
@@Tigermoth24 nothing wrongwith them...Luke even agreed they fit the purpose there built for.

Fusions r better than the mk6 Fiesta
Look forward to next video mate
