Great show as always! Great having Dave Masten, CTO of Masten Space Systems on the show, very informative and entertaining. Fed-X overnight from Mars, that was a hoot. O well, we can dream!
We have to go back to the moon first because there is so much we still have to learn about how to grow regular food in space ( I don't believe anyone is going to want to subsist on a diet entirely of insects) and how to deal with the long term effects of radiation exposure and living in a zero g environment.
Hearing on your show what goes on at Masten Space is at interesting as ever. But don´t you think he should get his very own coffe-pot on TMRO (he was in the show for about 4.7 million times after all).
+Joachim Voldseth Unfortunately, he's probably a little bit too high-profile for TMRO. It would be great, eventually, but I think TMRO needs to grow quite a lot before being able to attract guests of that caliber.
+Joachim Voldseth This question has been asked on Reddit and Ben said that they will try to get another interview with him when the time is right. So it could be a while.
Technically, astronauts are already growing meat in space. Each crew member could feed three other crew members for a week. Maybe longer, if they rationed the meat.
I am 16 years old and has NEVER eaten meat, fish or eggs in my entire life, not even when I was a sperm as my parents haven't eaten meat in over 25 years. I am 6'1, weigh 160 pounds, I am healthy and amazing. #Perfect4Mars
Dave Masten in-studio again!? I feel like I don't even need to finish watching this before upvoting it.
That is a very cozy and friendly set/green room you have.

Vikings 1 and 2 did a real bang up job of landing, not in Kansas, but on Mars, on the first try, in 1976. Ground effect and all.

Great show guys.
Love the pink orb in the background! I think I like it better than the plants.
So Masten is building MechNeil?
+BosonCollider Was thinking the exact same thing. You beat me to the punch by a solid margin though.
It would be awesome if you had Elon Musk on your show sometime in the future! :)

Joachim Voldseth I think Cariann and Ben are employed by SpaceX, so there may be a conflict of interest.
+Stand4Liberty mike is there for the conflicts of interests around Space X
