Thank you so much for making this!! I’m happy to see how my dorm will look this fall! I will for sure put lamps and window shades down as things I need haha
I plan to move into the Tower Residential Suites in a year for Grad School at Wayne. The main question that has been boggling my mind is: Where do I send the trash bags for garbage pickup day? Please let me know as soon as you get this message. Thanks!
Hey louie, there are trash rooms on each floor. So no trash day, whenever you want to get trash out of your room you can walk to the room and drop it down a shoot. The room is always open. There’s a recycling bin in the room too but it’s a single recycling bin so not great for dumping a big thing of recycling. So if you want to recycle you need to take it to a big green dumpster behind the dorms
Oh my gosh this is bringing back so many memories I stayed in the towers when I attended Wayne State for law school....... Oh the memories good time.... Is Claude the security guard still downstairs, he was awesome
Hello my daughter toured Wayne state yesterday and they showed chat worth. Can she stay at yours as a freshman. Overall how is it living with four girls in that small space with one shower? Is this room the biggest of all the dorms.
@@Katie_Jane sorry I meant bathrooms and freaked out that you had to share it with boys lol, but then saw the rest of the video where you showed the shower and all that. Of course, it is totally fine either way
Omg! If I arrived for the first time, hadn’t met any of my roommates yet, and saw all that WOKE crap on the wall I’d immediately run to the Housing Office and insist on different roommates. I’d drop out or move off campus if they couldn’t accommodate. I’d even drive back and forth from Canada if I had to! 😳 yikes!
Thank u very helpful for me and my daughter to know what to expect, awesome video
Happy to help
Yayyy this is awesome 😭 I could never find a good recent tour video.

Do I gather correctly that some furniture and beds were provided at University Towers? Because in the description of housing, I read is unfurnished.
Thank you so much!! What size rug did you use in the rooms?
8 by 10 in the big room and in my room 3 by 5
@@Katie_Jane thank you!!
Thank you so much!! This is super helpful :)
Are there general kitchens where you can cook stuffs?
Yes but it’s not very fancy

Can you sit up on the bed with it fully lofted. Im not super great at staying focused when studying and I need lots of different seating options
No but there’s a bunch of different heights you can find one that works for you
I know it's been a while since you made this video, but I thought I'd ask anyways - can each of the rooms in the suite be locked?
I’m sorry I didn’t see this but yes they can! You have an actual key for your own room
Are the floors separated please tell me it’s not shared lol
by gender? they're not separated

I hope you’re fairing well at this liberal ass university :)
This girl will die alone with her cats. I really feel sorry for her, so filled with trauma.
I’m allergic to cats
