- Today we are at Popeyes trying the new Spicy TRUFF Chicken Sandwich. It’s Popeyes signature Chicken Sandwich now topped with TRUFF’s award-winning Spicy Mayo featuring the bold flavors of red jalapeno, rich creamy mayo, and black winter truffle. You can also purchase a side of the spicy TRUFF mayo which is perfect for dipping Cajun fries in.

I agree with Cathy, mayo is awesome. I sometimes spread a layer of it on a piece of grilled chicken. My family laughs and me and tells me it's "chicken frosting". When I was young I would eat mayo sandwiches. I'm a big fan! Also, Dan, yes, the wheels on the Ferrari are most important!

Cathy did you know today, most of the stuff is made synthetically with ingredients like 2,4-dithiapentane, an aromatic molecule that gives truffles their distinctive smell.

I'm with Dan on this one because 1. There are two of you so you cut the sandwich in half. 2. If you quarter the sandwich then one of you may not get all the lopsided ingredients skewing your review. 3. Natural is better, I digress. Top condiment... Duke's Mayo.

@@DanRMorris Yes, delicious. Plain (not mixed with mayo), it's delicious. A little hot and a little sweet. It's the only hot sauce I will go out of my way to buy (it's expensive).

This video came across my feed for some reason and im glad i watched it, you 2 are hilarious. I watched it twice just because of the banter between you 2. Like you said you ordered a basic chix sandwich, thats how it comes so they just put the Truff sauce on that. The spicy chix sandwich only comes with pickles and the bag has the orange writing. Trust me because that's all i get from Popeyes. Condiments: mayo, ketchup, hotsauce.

I didn't really taste the truffle in the mayo. I bought an extra side of the mayo but used it in a frozen baked ziti dish to make it creamier.

I buy TRUFF products all the time , I have 2 TRUFF spixg mayo jars in my fridge and they cost abiut $10.00 each. When we get Popeyes near me i just go and add TRUFF
Once again, Dan is spot on. Mayo (and dare I say Sour Cream) is the base. However, Ketchup is relegated to fries only - and maybe a traditional Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
Fries only . . . hmm. . . I definitely like ketchup and mustard on burgers. But I think I agree with you otherwise.

Japan's top condiment seems to be mayo, but their mayo is a tiny bit different. They use it to dip their fries in even.
I like eating coleslaw with my fries. I use my fries like chopsticks. I enjoy the sweet and salty, but also the difference in texture.
I can't rank top five condiments, because it changes depending on the food.

I am displeased that "chili sauce" has become complicated. There is Heinz chili sauce, store brand versions of it and a different brand that might be "homade" brand. It is completely different from the "sweet chili" Asian style sauces that have been becoming more popular. The Heinz type of chili sauce is at least superior on meatloaf. However, I would say that it is superior to ketchup in almost all applications one would choose or expect to use ketchup. Allrecipes has an article about heinz chili sauce being better than ketchup. Heinz also makes ketchili in a squeeze bottle for that are curious about chili sauce but aren't ready to step out of the ketchup Stockholm syndrome yet.
