Oh, Daryl Hannah. And here i was, trying to figure out why Uma Thurman looks so different here. I was convinced it was the eye patch along with great acting lol.
I love how Quentin gave each one of them a death judging by how nasty they were, Oren got her in a pretty honorable way and Bill too, Bill's death was the most honorable one, literally 5 steps and then all black, and Vernita got a pretty honorable one as well, had a clean fight and they even talked, and Beatrix respected the fact that her daughter was home, the only nasty thing she did was trying to shoot her after they agreed on seeing each other later that day, Beatrix would have never done that, no matter how mad she could be, and Vernita payed the price of that, it was her fault if the daughter then came up and was probably too traumatized to talk, but the nastiest deaths were indeed given to thr nastiest two of them, Elle and Budd, Budd was pretty much what Elle called him herself right before he died, and what a death, so pathetic, but to my point of view, in life, Elle was by far the nastiest of them all, and indeed she got the worst end, literally blind, so much pain both phisically and mentally, in her last moments of her life she had Budd's spit on her face and then Beatrix washed it off for her by putting her face in Budd's toilet seat..., no eyes, those blue eyes she had are no longer there, and was left alive and paniching and freaking out in that pathetic place with a dead body inside and an alive letal snake in there, that death, won it all, no one who was killed by Beatrix got it as bad as she did, and while alive no one was never as nasty and mean as Elle, not even Budd in his own pathetic way, that just teaches me to be good, to not be mean, sometimes it could happen that whoever might want to kill me in the future might decide how ti do it judging by how good or bad I was
one shouldnt moralize deaths. its annoying its done that way. good people die undignified and bad people die in their sleep sometimes. budd imo wasnt even that bad compared to the bunch.

Also, she could've, but it wouldn't be a BLACK MOTHAFUKIN MAMBA, *DOUCHE-WAD!!!!!!* (Not really calling you that; just introducing a new hilarious insult for everyone to use... and just shouting something away for no reason.)
This was actually a very bad assassination plan. The snake very easily could've made noise and alerted him before he uncovered it. It probably would've been really disoriented, and he would've reacted to it before it could attack him. And it could've just not felt like attacking at all.
+John Lee Good point. But, I think Quentin was going more for the poetic justice of it all. Bud made a deal to deliver the sword and make sure that B suffers until her dying breath. The price was $1 million. B's codename was Black Mamba, and Bud buried her alive. She emerged from the ground to kill again. Later, a Black Mamba that was buried under that $1 million, emerged from the pile of cash and killed Bud.
+John Lee I think realism went out the window then people's heads started bleeding like fountains and when someone wouldn't suffocated when buried alive.
In the movie Elle said of Beatrix " That woman deserved better " She was angry at Budd burying Bea alive ... Interesting.. as it shows the deep down respect they still have for each other even if they are enemies.
The third one would suck. It’s called Kill BIIIIILLLL. The story’s over. Them getting revenge on the Bride would make everything that happened before mean nothing. Plus, it’s just one person. Part of what makes the original revenge tale so interesting is that Beatrix has to go up against a hundred people over an extended period of time. Also, Tarantino has never made a bad movie, all of his movies are good, but he’s been on a downward slope since Inglorious Basterds

When you think about it, it was pretty stupid of Budd to invite Elle over. He knows she's both a complete psychopath and a narcissist. He should have been wary that she might kill him so she can: 1 get the Hanzo sword without paying for it and 2 Claim she was the one who defeated Beatrix.
When I first saw this I was shocked that Elle would kill Budd. The things that went through my mind at that moment was the fact that her chances to kill the Bride herself was taken by Budd and that angered her to the point of taking it out on him.
Elle killed Budd with a black mamba then a minutes later Beatrix comesback to kill her which is Beatrix is the black mamba herself based on their code-name. The Irony and an instant karma for Elle
When I first saw this scene with the Black Mamba appearing & then striking Budd it made me jump! Word to the wise--- Be cautious of what some people give you.
Scenario 2: Hey darlin, could you be a sweet heart and count this for me? Scenario 3: What the hell was that noise? Scenario 4: (Elle gets accidentally bitten while preparing the case) Bud: where the hell is that broad?
Elle could have made it even worse for him. Like pulling out a vial of antivenom and put it on the floor just a few feet away. Watch him struggle to reach it before he dies, and if he gets close, push it a few inches a further away with the point of her boot.
I love how she sit down comfortably and explains Budd about the biography of black mamba. 😂 That's so badass and brutal at the same time. Kill Bill is a true cinematic masterpiece.
Who'd have thought Madison from Splash would have made such a sublime villain. Due to her athletic frame & unique looks Daryl Hannah has always had a real presence on the screen, still think she would have made a first class villain in a 007 movie, especially after seeing her in this, she'd have kicked ass :)
If only Budd would have looked at the money, checked one note pack and then closed the suitcase the whole story would have changed. Why would he take out like 40.000 dollars of cash in the middle of the desert? He oviously could hape pulled out just 3-4.000 and left the rest inside to bring it somewhere and the snake would have died of famine and dehydration in a few days.
I don't think he trusted her and she knew he would check almost all the money to make sure she wasn't ripping him off. in most deals the other person counts or checks all the money. if he left with it and she had ripped him off she would have the sword and he proably couldn't get it back without a lot of trouble simpler to just check it first.
I wish Elle would have told Bill when he called her standing over Beatrix that she already completed the procedure and pushed in the poison. whats Bill going to do when he sent her in there in the 1st place before chaging his mind to do a job she was ordered to do.
Amandine FERE Yea, that's too bad. A bit unsatisfied with his death. And I meant if zombies could see as snakes see, thermal vision. Then they could see that he's still warm and they would have a snack. I was just thinking about it. But it doesn't make much sence now when explaining lol.
One of my favorate movies. But some of those scenes are way too violent for me. I'm the squeamish type. When I first saw that seen where Uma snatched that lady's eye out, I was tripping for 4 days. Lol
Don't feed the trolls. Elle is my favourite character from Kill Bill. And the best thing is that it was intended for her to return for Kill Bill 3, it's a shame that Tarantino didn't want to make the film
I love the fact that she took the time to write down those facts about the black mamba. Like in her head she was like, "I should read to him as he's dying, some facts about the snake that just killed him." ahah xD
Fun fact: Black Mambas will typically try to escape from humans but since they like climbing fruit trees to look for prey and people in Africa pick fruit from the same trees they may feel trapped if they come across a person in a tree. This snake was in a suitcase and it was confronted by a person right when it saw daylight. Then it attacked Bud because it felt trapped and then ignored Elle because there was a way for it to escape. The little details that Quentin Tarantino adds to his films are another thing that makes him awesome.
I always wondered, was Beatrix aware that Budd was killed by Elle? She arrives shortly after this scene but Elle never tells her that she killed him and I don't think that Beatrix ever notices Budd on the floor dead? Does she even know that Budd is dead?
@@Angellarocque85 Eh I think she might have been a lot of things but coward, not so sure. Vindictive and petty, sure but I am not so sure she ever did anything out of fear. Fun fact: This is where Kobe got his nickname ‘Black Mamba’.
I wrote the same fact on this thread.
How?
Roger Mayweather called himself "Black Mamba" before anyone.
He got that from playing soccer
"Now you should listen to this, cuz this concerns you" is delivered perfectly.
"GARGANTUAN"
Ronaldo Natali I actually learned this word from this movie lol
It's so rare that you have an opportunity to use it in a sentence.
@@Fonthandler Yes and I learned the words turtle neck by reading the comments. The irony.
@@Fonthandler - I learned this word (gargantuan) at band camp, this one time.
When you realize that she played the lead on a reboot of Attack of the 50ft Woman, you get the hidden reference
She has neat handwriting
Elle has got to be one of the most sexiest women I've ever seen.
I don't know why but I could never seen her as sexy you know. It might be because I was never into blonds. I don't like Turner either lol. But Lucy is cute. I would say she's one of the most amazing and sexiest looking girl ever. My first is my fiance tho :P But you know she's kinda cute and I understand why you like her.
I do have to give it to her that she's an AMAZING actor! The moment I seen her I hated her. She did that so very well..
Heaven's sake, NO. She has so much botox injected in her face, it looks like a wrinkling piece of plastic, it looks SOOO weird when she talks, too.
Zombater she was hot in splash
Mehh...
I'd nail her
Kobe Bryant got inspired by this scene and adopted the black mamba Nickname since then ..... RIP legend
The way she's just staring at him watching him go through the money you can tell she's waiting for something to happen.
But he was so focused on the money that he didn't notice her staring at him!
She was so casual about the whole thing. Like she was talking about the weather. I love it. XD.
She's a trained killer, and a bit of a sociopath!
Probably some of the worst last words anyone has ever had to listen to before they die slowly of snake venom.
Daryl Hannah should have won an oscar!
Amore-Guy Or at the very least nominated. I remember who were the nominees that year (2004) and she was better than over half of them.
SirPlainview AGREED
Amore-Guy why exactly?!?!?!?
Oh, Daryl Hannah. And here i was, trying to figure out why Uma Thurman looks so different here. I was convinced it was the eye patch along with great acting lol.
hell no, y'all outta control
I love how Quentin gave each one of them a death judging by how nasty they were, Oren got her in a pretty honorable way and Bill too, Bill's death was the most honorable one, literally 5 steps and then all black, and Vernita got a pretty honorable one as well, had a clean fight and they even talked, and Beatrix respected the fact that her daughter was home, the only nasty thing she did was trying to shoot her after they agreed on seeing each other later that day, Beatrix would have never done that, no matter how mad she could be, and Vernita payed the price of that, it was her fault if the daughter then came up and was probably too traumatized to talk, but the nastiest deaths were indeed given to thr nastiest two of them, Elle and Budd, Budd was pretty much what Elle called him herself right before he died, and what a death, so pathetic, but to my point of view, in life, Elle was by far the nastiest of them all, and indeed she got the worst end, literally blind, so much pain both phisically and mentally, in her last moments of her life she had Budd's spit on her face and then Beatrix washed it off for her by putting her face in Budd's toilet seat..., no eyes, those blue eyes she had are no longer there, and was left alive and paniching and freaking out in that pathetic place with a dead body inside and an alive letal snake in there, that death, won it all, no one who was killed by Beatrix got it as bad as she did, and while alive no one was never as nasty and mean as Elle, not even Budd in his own pathetic way, that just teaches me to be good, to not be mean, sometimes it could happen that whoever might want to kill me in the future might decide how ti do it judging by how good or bad I was
except Elle almost certainly didn't die.
one shouldnt moralize deaths. its annoying its done that way. good people die undignified and bad people die in their sleep sometimes. budd imo wasnt even that bad compared to the bunch.
I remember watching this on TV when I was 8 years old with my mom. Probably one of the most memorable scenes.
u watch this at 8 well i let my nephew who is 8 watch parts of it but not the full thing my sister would have went nuts if she ever found out a let him see parts of it never mind the full thing
she should put an elephant in the bag
Nice avatar.

Also, she could've, but it wouldn't be a BLACK MOTHAFUKIN MAMBA, *DOUCHE-WAD!!!!!!*
(Not really calling you that; just introducing a new hilarious insult for everyone to use... and just shouting something away for no reason.)
lol omg
+Travis Ireland she probably didnt want to include them since it would ve taken her more time to put extra summaries of other animals
ZOMBIE jup thats her reason for not including the other animals
Lol
This was actually a very bad assassination plan. The snake very easily could've made noise and alerted him before he uncovered it. It probably would've been really disoriented, and he would've reacted to it before it could attack him. And it could've just not felt like attacking at all.
But It's a cool movie moment from a not so serious movie.
IT'S A MOVIE!!!!!!!! You're not supposed to survive from being buried in a grave either.
+RGS maybe preserving venom after using a gargantuan amount on Bud already
+John Lee I think realism went out the window then people's heads started bleeding like fountains and when someone wouldn't suffocated when buried alive.
This for me is Daryl Hannah’s best character by far. She should’ve won something.
In the movie Elle said of Beatrix " That woman deserved better " She was angry at Budd burying Bea alive ... Interesting.. as it shows the deep down respect they still have for each other even if they are enemies.
A snake being inside of a suitcase of money is definitely symbolic, Tarantino always has great hidden metaphor in his films. 🐍
what’s the metaphor ?
This is an amazing scene. So well acted. Should have gotten an Oscar.
Daryl Hannah is a goddess. Most don't get her character tho which is so sad. One of my fave villains I hope she's in the third one!
She might be if she survived getting both eyes plucked out
@Bilal Khalid I wish, but doubt it.
@@maxfieldnuckels9075 remember when she killed the black woman and her daughter saw her what if the girl became an elite assassin and tries to go after the bride 👰 I think it would make a good movie
@@tonys9796 they could do her character as a blind woman who can fight . there's several adaptions of stories on people with heightened senses. like Daredevil
I think Id rather get bit from the snake then drink out of one of Bud's glasses.
Pretty sure the results are the same. XD Bud sits down and explains what the salmonella is doing to you from his notes! Rofl
Imagine if it didnt bite him.
Like he lifts the money and the mamba’s like “oh hey, whats up” lol
She should’ve got an Oscar nom for her performance! When Vol 1. was released, people didn’t care until they seen Daryl Hannah’s eye patch!
She has such a soothing voice, I could listen to her all day.
She looks like she's reading her script on the notes. LOL.
that part when she takes out a note pad and reading it is so iconic for me. i still buy those handheld note pads as a result.
I love this scene. Elle punishing Bud for giving the "Black Mamba" (Beatrice) a disrespectful death. By killing Bill with a black mamba 🤣
Darryl Hannah was an f’n amazing villain!
That snake was like “surprise motherf**er”
The elegance of Elle compared to what happens to her afterwards is comedy genius.
Loved how even here she commended Beatrix for her skill and killed Budd as a sort of form of twisted justice.
Darryl Hanna is amazing in this film! Her acting and actions scenes were the best yet.
I love the fact that even though Beatrix didn't kill Budd, it was still a Black Mamba. :)
I just posted a comment know about this. read if you'd like :)
One of the most brutal death scenes in cinema history.
Have you watched Hostel?
Cgoat sadly yes
Dude, there are wayyyy more brutal scenes. This isn’t even that brutal.
120 days of sodom
No.. It ain't.
When I first saw this I was shocked that Elle would kill Budd. The things that went through my mind at that moment was the fact that her chances to kill the Bride herself was taken by Budd and that angered her to the point of taking it out on him.
Elle killed Budd with a black mamba
then a minutes later Beatrix comesback to kill her which is Beatrix is the black mamba herself based on their code-name. The Irony and an instant karma for Elle
I finally noticed... always thought it was funny that Bud was the only one who wasn't killed by Beatrix, but he was still killed by a "Black Mamba".
Omg her voice!
When I first saw this scene with the Black Mamba appearing & then striking Budd it made me jump!
Word to the wise--- Be cautious of what some people give you.
Take a pause and recognize that perfect crunch of ice.
Scenario 2: Hey darlin, could you be a sweet heart and count this for me?
Scenario 3: What the hell was that noise?
Scenario 4: (Elle gets accidentally bitten while preparing the case) Bud: where the hell is that broad?
BobvanKay 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 All 3 works for me!!
Elle in this scene is what every "Fun Facts" comments come across as.
I never got why she didn't' win an Oscar for this performance. Hannah is so great!
I love how she makes notes on everything 😂
FR😂🙈
She's just like me fr
Elle could have made it even worse for him. Like pulling out a vial of antivenom and put it on the floor just a few feet away. Watch him struggle to reach it before he dies, and if he gets close, push it a few inches a further away with the point of her boot.
I don't think there is an antivenom for the black mamba poison.
+Isabella Felipe de Oliveira Campos
Could have just been a vial of water. The point is, Budd doesn't know that.
+Yonkage Well, on that way it could be a good plan of torture.
😂😂😂😂
Isabella Felipe de Oliveira CamposYou mean, for the black mamba's *venum*, not poison.
I love how she sit down comfortably and explains Budd about the biography of black mamba. 😂
That's so badass and brutal at the same time. Kill Bill is a true cinematic masterpiece.
She was my FAVORITE character in all the Kill Bill movies👍❤️
"Now you should listen to this, cos this concerns you" best line ever XD
Who'd have thought Madison from Splash would have made such a sublime villain.
Due to her athletic frame & unique looks Daryl Hannah has always had a real presence on the screen, still think she would have made a first class villain in a 007 movie, especially after seeing her in this, she'd have kicked ass :)
The female Largo
If only Budd would have looked at the money, checked one note pack and then closed the suitcase the whole story would have changed. Why would he take out like 40.000 dollars of cash in the middle of the desert? He oviously could hape pulled out just 3-4.000 and left the rest inside to bring it somewhere and the snake would have died of famine and dehydration in a few days.
Sandro Bindelli It seems Budd wasn't the brightest lightbulb in the lighthouse...kinda dim really
I think at that point Elle wouldve just killed Budd herself
I don't think he trusted her and she knew he would check almost all the money to make sure she wasn't ripping him off. in most deals the other person counts or checks all the money. if he left with it and she had ripped him off she would have the sword and he proably couldn't get it back without a lot of trouble simpler to just check it first.
yea + that wasnt a real snake anyway :D horrible CGI, Budd just faked it so she goes away and he can live a rich and happy life
that was practical effects ...Tarantino doesn't do cgi
"Gargantuan." Never will I hear the word and not think of this scene. Powerful film making.
I wish Elle would have told Bill when he called her standing over Beatrix that she already completed the procedure and pushed in the poison. whats Bill going to do when he sent her in there in the 1st place before chaging his mind to do a job she was ordered to do.
She reminds me of the Governor from The Walking DEad with her eyepatch and knife lol
I hope Walkers senced that he was still warm when Rick left and they had a nice lunch. May he rot in hell.
+marchlander1 He was already dead ;)
Amandine FERE Yea, that's too bad. A bit unsatisfied with his death.
And I meant if zombies could see as snakes see, thermal vision. Then they could see that he's still warm and they would have a snack. I was just thinking about it. But it doesn't make much sence now when explaining lol.
+Amandine FERE The eyepatch was so many times used that bores me...
Daryl Hannah, from Replicant to Assassin, she kicks ass!!!!
I just love how calm she is about the explanation concerning the snake
Think this was one of the best roles of Daryl Hannah...she nailed it.
I introduced gargantuan into my vocabulary when I saw this movie.
One of my favorate movies. But some of those scenes are way too violent for me. I'm the squeamish type. When I first saw that seen where Uma snatched that lady's eye out, I was tripping for 4 days. Lol
I often think of the shitty things mountain snake did and suddenly the scenes become kickass.
One of your Favorite movies are you fucking kidding me this movie was awful
charlene adkins make it 1 year...or errrrr forever! I have never forgotten that scene!!!!
+Amanda Meh Awful? Realy? Now you have me curious - what are some films you think are good? I'm betting that you have a terrible taste in films.
Don't feed the trolls. Everyone worth talking to in this or any other comments thread knows that while legitimate criticism is a fine thing, it'd take some damn poor taste in movies to be worse than someone whose idea of entertainment is seeking out clips of movies they hate just to shit in someone else's cornflakes.
There's always a little surprise in a package when it comes 2 movies like this.
Something deadly.
“That woman deserves better”
Says the woman who attempted to murder her in her sleep.
To her she seemed to think of it as an act of civility.
@@titheproven954 she was a coward
@@Angellarocque85 Eh I think she might have been a lot of things but coward, not so sure. Vindictive and petty, sure but I am not so sure she ever did anything out of fear. Killing her in the hospital wasn't about fear. Loathing and little in the way scruples was the motive there. Killing Bud was because she is petty.
Elle's whole thing was that she was a hypocrite.
0:21 when you see a spider sitting on the table.
Every scene in this film is a masterpiece.
RIP KOBE... WHO’S HERE FOR HIM
"Pretty cool huh?" gets me every time.
Gotta say .. Elle makes that cigarette 🚬 look sooooo good 😂👌
I'm not sure if the word "gargantuan" is correctly used in this case. As far as I know gargantuan means something (physically) huge. The term is usually more associated to refer a big "size" rather than "amount".
+Miguel Eduardo Sánchez If you think of it from a literary perspective, then its usage is pretty effective in this case.
"I've always liked that word 'gargantuan' - I so rarely get to use it in a sentence". What a great line.
Can you believe that this movie came out exactly 20 years ago? Wow, how time flies!
