PS If you're not finacially supporting any gymnasts, going to the Simone Biles tour or teaching the next generation of gymnasts, you need to keep your mouth shut about their status! With Andrade and Murakami and Urazova not doing the AA Melnikova will easily win it. Andrade will win vault easily even without the Amanar. Melnikova can probably win silver with her own DTY + Cheng especially since Murakami won’t compete vault. Qi Qi and Devillard are the other two medal contenders, maybe after that we get to Else Geurts or D’Amato. Bars will go to Wei Xiaoyuan or Russia unless Becky gets it together. Andrade can medal but not gold. Beam will be an easy win for China unless Urazova or Vorona magically hit two beam routines. Andrade and Ashikawa can medal but not gold. Floor will be the most exciting I think with Murakami and Melnikova both capable of winning. The best chance for the Americans to medal is here Melnikova seems primed to win 4 medals which would be awesome. Many of the ring leaps from the Chinese were really not as good as they usually are. Is that normal in podium training? I feel like they would probably be even more conservative with the position in quals
Idk, apparently people are having problems with the equipment, Melnikova talked about it on IG how she didn't like the feeling of it, the landings on floor sounds brutal almost like they don't have springs. Apparently all of them feels different and i just hope this doesn't turn into another "2017 Worlds-gate"
