It's super cute...I like the concept of the glasses going on/off...... but why choose a completely out of place British voice-over, when this is clearly filmed in Jamaica? A Jamaican accent voice-over would have made more sense.
I just watched the episode where Kim pitched her idea to Cynthia for this where it was a couple walking on a beach but when they put on the sunglasses they were transported to a red carpet. That probably would have worked better but this is funny. The best part of the whole thing is that weird run Greg does. 😂😂
We all have to remember the vision for the #mercial was Cynthia's idea. And working with the budget that was given, this is what you get... So kudos to Kim👏🏾👏🏾

I LIKED it! Up until the voice over. That was a terrible narrating voice. Other than that. I thought it was good and better than anything Kenya could produce. I would have also chosen better music. Something not so urban and masculine. I would have preferred something a bit more poppy and Beyonce-like (Like the beat in Who Run the World intro or something)

It does not take Thousands to make a great visual. It takes a passionate Camera person and Director. It takes having a eye for shapes and lines.. and catching the light. This really upsets me, only because you all really went off on that show about this. THIS IS THE FINAL PRODUCT? I wish I had the budget to film in Jamaica.. what a waste.
Phaedra's expressions were really good. there was a disconnect somewhere. Didnt make the glasses look worth 200.00. Nor did it make me want to buy a pair. I would like to at least see Kenyas take on the mercial.
My Thoughts: 1. All of you say Kenya's haircare commercial was better, but that is just shots of Kenya twirling around. That Concept wasn't challenging. Even though this was a tad underwhelming for me, Kim's concept was much more advanced than Kenya's hair care, even though it was still very simple. 2. We all saw Life Twirls on, and ONLY Kenya's fans said it had good production value. Those shots that took place in the living room looked like they were all straight up shot on an iPhone, WITH NO LIGHTING. 3. I know usually the producer sets the budget (Like in SS5 when Kenya quoted Phaedra 100k for a workout video, while todd quoted her 20k) But this is a small business. I'm sure Cynthia didn't just HAVE money to throw into it (Peter keeps putting all her money into "investment businesses"). So, I think Kim knew from the beginning it would have to be basic in plot. 4. Overall, I'd give it a 3/5.... I didn't like the Foreign lady talking, and the glasses laid out like that in the last still made them look cheap. Idk, just my opinion. 5. I can't believe Kenya's petty ass really didn't show up in the video. When Nene doesn't get in commercials or plays, you all read her for filth. But I guess to some of you, your fave gets to ditch Cynthia and float around on the ocean with her man-child. 6. Kim was hired, GET OVER IT! We all know as much as Kenya calls herself a "good friend," she will shade Cynthia choice ALL SEASON in her confessional, so lets leave the bitterness to her, lol. GEEZ :P

Also, she’s running with a knife upstairs, falls down the stairs then is running by the pool with the knife in her hand again?! Cynthia Bailey, NO! This looks like a commercial my business class group would have shot, only at the beach. I'm currently in my early years of college, and our commercial was similar to this in terms of production quality. Hell it was even worse. 1) TOO DAMN LONG! People barely want to watch 30 second commercials, much less a minute commercial! She should have "trimmed the fat." Hell a lot of the stuff needed to be cut out. 2) The black and white segment was annoying. It made the commercial look even cheaper. 3) No fun was had after Cynthia put the sunglasses on. They should have showed everyone being bored (in color), then have Cynthia walked by while they check her out. Simple, cheap, and gets the message across. Also Cythia's outfit should have flown in the wind to create that magical effect.

I feel like this definitely had to have been made for the RHOA storyline, why else would Cynthia have chosen the cast to be in it instead of legitimate models/actors? And also getting her 'friends' to produce it instead of an actual production company. And it was just such a convenient plot to create drama and entertainment, i.e. The ridiculousness of Kim and Kenya at each other's throats all because of the damn 'mercial. I mean, it's funny, but, come on..
The camera angles were very basic. I wish there would've been more dramatic shots to keep it interesting. The last scene felt awkard with cynthia posing in the background; I wanna see what Kenya would've done cuz this is too basic
