Freaking amazing remake of a loved game! I've played the original in 1998, first with Claire, then with Leon. I had a bunch of friends around and I remember telling everyone around me there should be a different ending on the second run. I didn't knew it, I just felt it. And then, after killing the final boss and the animation with Leon saying "Goodbye, Ada" everyone was pretty sure the ending is the same. One second later, we were all amazed...
Till this day its absolutly mindfucking how literally nobody gives a single fuck about the completely dysfunctional scenario system and the completely ruined story that comes with that.. I just don't understand this.
I love your gameplays because you are one of the few players that actually takes his time and doesn't rush through everything, and I love the intro with the guitar playing with the rain effect and your emblem appearing out of the dark. Also, I was wondering if it's possible you could play this game with Leon A and Claire B because in the intro to RE4 Remake it shows that order is canon while I understand you prefer Claire A and Leon B, but I just want to see that for continuity's sake but if you don't want to do it, I understand
Thank you for the upload! I work from home quite often, so putting your videos on a monitor while I work on another is a great way to make the day seem to fly by. Just one or two SHN videos of some awesome, spooky games and the work day is done! And RE 2 has been an all-time favorite since I first played it in the 90's, along with FF 7. The original RE 1 was fun, but that was definitely one where the remake was better in every way (except for the whole OG PS1 vibe since nothing can top the original RE 1 there). The RE 2 remake was definitely also all kinds of awesome. The only thing I didn't really like is how rarely Leon and Clair interact during their campaigns. I don't think they should have done the coop thing like in RE 0, but in the original you would run into each other or at least talk over the radio a few times during the campaign. In the remake, when I was playing Clair's campaign I completely forgot all about Leon and vice versa. I also liked in the original when you could choose to take the sidepack or sub machine gun in the first campaign or leave it for the other person as well as needing both campaigns to unlock the door to the Tyrant lab. I wish they'd have done a few things like that in the remake. But yeah, this game still rocks and was one of the few I got all the achievements on on steam. Thank you for sharing! For spooky game suggestions, there's a old flash game trilogy called Don't Escape that's been added to Steam. They're short and OG flash games, but still a bit spooky and fun. Same with the Cube Escape Collection, and Deep Sleep Trilogy. I also just played through The Cabin Factory, which was tons of fun. I would highly recommend going into that blind. Just know if you go in a cabin and something moves while you're in it, hit the red button lol.
