Elections are supposed to give you a chance to choose between good and bad, but if the option is to choose between bad and bad , what would the common man do??
It is reported that the amount of black money stashed away abroad by Indians is anywhere between 3-10 Trillion USD or Rs.250-900 Lakh Crores. Can we get that money back?
Is there a democratically elected leader in any political party. So we have so many family businesses passing off as political parties all over India. After getting elected with sometimes with just one third of the voters they claim they have got majority. As long as people vote on the basis of religion and caste, there is no democracy in India
Namaskaram, Shri Scariaji Is it not a fact that voting % have increased over the years? If I am not wrong, I think voting percentages in India has reached mid 60s since the 2009 General Elections. Even in Western democracies, voting% hardly crosses 30- 40%,is'nt it? Shouldn't voting % of mid 60s be considered as indicative of Indian voter's faith in democracy?
Namaskaram, Sumal In the 2020 US election, according to Pew Research Centre, the voting percentage was 62.8. In India, the difference is the presence of multiple parties, unlike the mostly two-party system in developed countries. So, in India, when 67 per cent vote, someone with 20 per cent votes can emerge winner.
A farmer wants to give his turkeys Democracy. He set out two bowls, one filled with corn kernels, the other with pebbles. and he says to the turkeys: "I would like you to exercise your democratic right and vote. If you eat the corn kernels, you vote to be on the Thanksgiving dinner menu. If you eat the pebbles, you vote to be left alone. OK?" Then the turkeys eat the corn kernels, and both the farmer and the turkeys go out to celebrate for the success of democracy. The sad thing is, the turkeys themselves are convinced that democracy "works" because they "have the freedom to vote." PS: You see, having a vote is not Freedom. Freedom comes from knowing how things really work. If I really know what the reasons/options/consequences are for the Iraq War, if I really know what the consequence will be for me with TTP/TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership), if I really know the cost/benefit for everybody of the "war on drugs" and "war on terrorism", if I really know what the deal is with the Wall Street bankers and arms dealers, I have Freedom to choose. I have neither the knowledge nor the right to vote on any of these. I'm just the "turkey" Copied from Quora
The difference between PM Modi and Rahul Gandhi is that Rahul Gandhi will surf the high wave but Modi will create that high wave which he will ride. It certainly isn't the case that Rahul Gandhi cannot create that high wave. After all politics makes strange bed fellows. Is the high wave created by Modi a good wave ? Guess we will never know.
First nedd to do homework on indian politics. 2014 indian media was one handed powered by Congress. Currently its d reverse. If you think 2014 mms faced tough questions from journalist...you need to rethink about your analysis. Second about redistribution... Congress has already done. If you would have done d homework..you would definitely know this. Check waqt board law updated in 2013 and 123 properties of Delhi given to Waqft board. Check there are tons f cases ppl fighting against this board.
Joe metric please also make a video on the disastrous 10 years under the italian sonia.. Or does your soft corner for a fellow co religionist make you blind to facts?
It is better to have a performing leader who does monologue, rather than having a munmun PM or a never-tobe- bafoon at the helm. Please try to be neutral Sir. I do respect your views.
You r completely failing to see what d majority ppl are facing in your analysis. Then you cry modi modi is lier. Hjndus don't have teams to convert, team to finance, team to do politics. ..unlike d Christian community. The minorities should be happy that the majority is divided...that division is what Rahul trying to misuse. The EC should completely ban both caste and religion based politics...not just religion alone.
What do you mean by majority? Is it only the majority among the elite classes in India. The benefits should reach the people of the farthermost corner. Yesterday I watched the campaigning in the interiors of UP. Now, people are as much disappointed with the BJP as they were with the Congress earlier. It won't be a surprise if the BJP is defeated in a considerable number of their sitting seats in UP.
Sir any data on how much electorate is missing in voters list, when they want to exercise their democratic right
Short and to the point Thanks Joe
Thank you 😊
Recently PM talked to many media including malayalam media too
