Married for almost 6 years and together for 7, wish I would have saved sex and kissing for marriage it’s just not worth the momentary good feeling. Thankfully I’m forgiven and walking in freedom within an amazing marriage. If you have crossed boundaries, your life is not over, you’re not doomed to have terrible sex and God will still give you the one he has for you. Ask God for forgiveness and forgive yourself so you can start making steps towards Gods will and not your own.

I’m only 19 and I have to admit sometimes I obsess over the fact that I’ve never dated anyone and never been taken out and I start worrying about ever finding someone. It’s also funny cause I’m only 19 but in our Christian climate that’s a pretty normal age to be getting married so I’m just like 😰😰😂

@@alltruth881 its not like that in all countries. I know girls who spent years in a monastery or doing humanitarian work in Africa or India, and some of them never had a boyfriend and are around 30. I have never been in America but I have the feeling you think the entire world is like the US 😂 and no, there is a lot of diferent lifestyles and diferent cultures out there. Also some people they don't put that much of an enphasis on romantic relationships, like... Life is about much more than just that, I mean there is other areas of life you may be busy with, not necessarily work but like... Growing spiritualy, figuring out what God and life is on your own... Okay I'm gonna be honest, I completely agree with saving sex until marriage. But I don't think every form of physical love should be saved until then, like hugs and holding hands. You guys preach at us saying how great it was that you saved all these things until marriage, yet in a past video you literally had a fight because Paul, you didn't think Morgan gave you enough physical forms of love. Okay, nobody is realistically going to read this BUT. I get the thinking behind "if we go further physically than we should then I can't be with you", like I understand you put that in place as a deterrent and all, but this thinking is SO flawed. I mean you are saying to her "if the boundaries are crossed then I'm not marrying you" effectively putting all the responsibility on her, and let yourself get off scott free if that were to happen. Biblically speaking you should really be thinking right from the beginning "I as the man and head of this relationship, must ensure that we remain pure until marriage and don't cross boundaries... AND, if those boundaries are crossed, then I MUST regardless of whether I really think she is the "one", marry her, because I have crossed a line." I mean, damn, y'all be going on about leading the relationship but then give yourself loopholes for if anything happens that shouldn't so you can get out of if and pretend you're doing the "right" "moral" thing whilst effective putting it all on her. Sigh.

My husband originally said that he didn’t want to kiss until the wedding day. For us, kissing was an important stopping point to express our love without pressing the gas into other physical acts we were wanting to save for marriage. I don’t think there’s one way for every couple with boundaries. I think it really is different for every one. That being said, I’m so thankful we saved sex for our marriage.

It seems to me that not even kissing would make it too big of a jump to go from first kiss ever to sex in the same day. How can you be that comfortable to jump from 0 to 100 so quickly, even though you know and love the person?
It depends on every one like they said. We know that from kissing it can lead to sexual encounters and all they want to do is avoid that. If you know you're strong enough to dominate those sexual encounters then that will be your decision. Nothing wrong with kissing.
I didn't kiss my (ex)husband until the wedding day. As a result, I had no idea that he hardly brushed his teeth. Bad, but worse to a person(me)with a sensitive nose. I've decided I will kiss before marriage in the future.

my jaw dropped "I like you more than I thought I would..." only because look, Paul and Morgan, you guys are great...I am subbed and part of the notification squad, but you guys come off a little strong and unapproachable. Like if I saw you at church, you wouldn't be the type of people I would approach. Nate & Sutton seem more approachable idk why. I feel you sis. I am not subscribed to P&M because I don't really see eye to eye them on theology, but I love Nate and Sutton so I took the chance and watched this video. Honestly seeing the two couples together softened my view of P&M. That being said, Karla your views are probably based on truth. The couples are so different... and you can see that in how they interpret scripture and share their lives. Turn to Christ and be careful with who you allow to influence your walk with the Lord.

I agree with most if not all your advice on dating. I am a Bible Believing Christian. And my now husband and I dated since 15 and 17 and we had boundaries. We saved ourselves and we saved our first kiss for our Wedding day. Which was about 5 years later. Some people wanted us to fail... which is sad, but it only pushed us harder. I’m glad to say my husband got all of me and not Pieces. They first guy that held my hand, the first one to kiss me, the first Everything. And I’m proud of that 😊

They are like "we are better cus we waited for marriage..." and I am like "how old are you?" and they are like "We are 18." and i gulp and think "try waiting unitl 28." True dear it's little bit scaring as you grow older and it takes really faith as you grow older you are thinking of reaching menopause for those who were blessed and married earlier they think they understand but they don't ask me am 39 and still waiting.
I don't think it's a matter of who's better than who or who had it easier. We need to be careful about comparing ourselves to others because that's where the important things get lost. The only person we should compare ourselves with is Jesus for the purpose of being more like him and he went his whole life without marriage. Waiting to do these things is beneficial no matter how old you are. Just because someone gets married at 18 and 'didn't have to wait as long' it doesn't invalidate their understanding of God's plan.

I freaking LOVE y'all! I used to think you were kinda weird, then I listened to you more and more, and got to liking y'all. I started dating, threw all your advice out the window, figured I could handle it. Even though I come from very conservative Christian Mennonite background, I thought y'all were a bit extreme on the physical boundaries!! Well we broke up going on six months ago! And since then I've realized how selfish and shallow we were in the relationship. I wanted to help him, but I tried by myself, of my own strength. Of course that was bound to fail! It's so easy to waste time, and be selfish when you don't have strong boundaries set up!! I would really do things different if I got another chance! The Lord is such a huge part of my life right now I can't imagine how I even survived that time of my life! I really value y'all and the straight forward advice you give us. God bless y'all so much!

Kissing is simply part of 'sexual purity' too....all part of saving yourself/inner parts of your heart for marriage! saving yourself makes it so much more fun and enjoyable for your wedding day/marriage :) resist temptation so it dosnt lead into bigger stuff...then before you know, youve gone further than you wanted
You do a good job at putting out good principles to think about when it comes to purity. Even if someone doesn't decide that suggestion is for them and their relationships, it gives them some extra time to think about it and an area to watch themselves in. For example, your video "It's only Hugging" makes a lot of sense. I like a good hug, and don't feel like it's out of bounds, But have put more thought into that decision because of that video. And if I start seeing that it's starting to go in a bad direction, it's easier to say the hugging should be scaled back till later. :)

Your boundaries that you give advice for is by all means holy and the right thing to do bcs if you start doing one thing it can be easily moved to the next.
A smidge confused... when Nate told Sutton "if we cross these boundaries, I can't be with you" wouldn't you want to stay with them more because you crossed the line? And have had that experience with them and leave them with another person when you have had that connection?
Nate wasn't talking about not have a connection with Sutton, he was trying to say that he wouldn't feel good knowing that he did things that he shouldn't have done, act like it wasn't a big deal, and possibly continue to do it. He was trying to say if God isn't in the center of their relationship and boundaries are being crossed, then he wouldn't want to be in it.
YES!!!! Thank YOU for bringing them on your channel! They are my FAVORITE Christian RUclips couple because they represent Christians so well. You can tell they are humble, real, non-judgemental, pure hearts type, non-surface level and mature. Sutton is such a classy woman to she carries herself with such poise. Okay, not going to lie, at first when I subbed to you guys (Paul & Morgan) I was a little annoyed...I liked you guys but I also felt like you guys were too judgey but when I heard Nate say "You were just giving suggestions" ...I was like OMG yes! So apologies. I guess it's just because I have been saving myself for marriage & always run into Christians who are mean people and act all better than others yet they dont save themselves for marriage but judge me for my own Chrisitan beliefs. That part about thinking about not finding someone is exactly what i have found myself. Ive been spending days in the Bible learning and praying late into the night about the person for me. And he put this on my mind so I know its time for me to start having that thought in my head, but its easy to obsess over the potential of your future spouse. You should always know that God still comes first and honoring your future spouse is just the same as if you are married now. Train your brain to know this. This is my difficulty, because I’m excited to think what God’s plan is for our relationship together with a spouse.
1.) Patience & Obedience is key. Be patient enough to trust in God's timing, but also Obedient enough to take a chance when he tells you to talk to someone. 2.) Having boundaries is an EXCELLENT IDEA. 3.) In the words of Pastor Steven Furtick, "SET SOME STANDARDS"!😂😂😂
I respect Nate's position that he would break up with someone if they went too far; however, I do think it is possible for a Christian couple to recover from going too far and stay together. It's all situational and I'm not saying that is possible or wise for everyone. It's certainly challenging and can hurt a relationship. But you also can learn and grow. I know I have set boundaries that are not strict enough, and then gone a little too far. So then my partner and I amended our boundaries and made them stricter. Unfortunately, sometimes you don't know how far is too far until you've been tempted. In my first relationship I didn't know how strict I needed to be until I experienced that. Obviously, that is not the ideal way to learn, but my point is that physical boundaries should be an ongoing conversation throughout a relationship, and couples can recover from going too far if they seek God and forgive each other.
I just watched you'll on the Nate and Sutton video and now here I am. I'm hearing this Tinder (not based in USA) but I wouldn't go on, I'm not good at exploring, risks and me are a no go. It's easy to get frustrated even when you are dating, knowing what Gods plan is but being so drawn emotionally and physically to your boyfriend/girlfriend. It seems to me that not even kissing would make it too big of a jump to go from first kiss ever to sex in the same day. How can you be that comfortable to jump from 0 to 100 so quickly, even though you know and love the person?
It depends on every one like they said. We know that from kissing it can lead to sexual encounters and all they want to do is avoid that. If you know you're strong enough to dominate those sexual encounters then that will be your decision. Nothing wrong with kissing.
I didn't kiss my (ex)husband until the wedding day. As a result, I had no idea that he hardly brushed his teeth. Bad, but worse to a person(me)with a sensitive nose. I've decided I will kiss before marriage in the future.

Like if I saw you at church, you wouldn't be the type of people I would approach. Nate & Sutton seem more approachable idk why. So them confirming you guys are amazing, I am like okay, okay, I think these two have a pure soul they are just more OUTSPOKEN and sometimes that can come off as not humble.
I feel you sis. I am not subscribed to P&M because I don't really see eye to eye them on theology, but I love Nate and Sutton so I took the chance and watched this video. Honestly seeing the two couples together softened my view of P&M. That being said, Karla your views are probably based on truth. The couples are so different... and you can see that in how they interpret scripture and share their lives. Turn to Christ and be careful with who you allow to influence your walk with the Lord.

I agree with most if not all your advice on dating. I am a Bible Believing Christian. And my now husband and I dated since 15 and 17 and we had boundaries. We saved ourselves and we saved our first kiss for our Wedding day. Which was about 5 years later. Some people wanted us to fail... which is sad, but it only pushed us harder. I’m glad to say my husband got all of me and not Pieces. They first guy that held my hand, the first one to kiss me, the first Everything. And I’m proud of that 😊

To all single people out here, singleness is not a disease, it's not a situation. It's a time where you just have to enjoy falling in love with Jesus, get to know Him more. Hey I'm single and at this point, I'm really not ready for THAT person yet. I'm getting more and more comfortable with being single and starting to see it as a blessing and not a situation. True dear it's little bit scaring as you grow older and it takes really faith as you grow older you are thinking of reaching menopause for those who were blessed and married earlier they think they understand but they don't ask me am 39 and still waiting.
I don't think it's a matter of who's better than who or who had it easier. We need to be careful about comparing ourselves to others because that's where the important things get lost. The only person we should compare ourselves with is Jesus for the purpose of being more like him and he went his whole life without marriage. Waiting to do these things is beneficial no matter how old you are. Just because someone gets married at 18 and 'didn't have to wait as long' it doesn't invalidate their understanding of God's plan.

I freaking LOVE y'all! I used to think you were kinda weird, then I listened to you more and more, and got to liking y'all. I started dating, threw all your advice out the window, figured I could handle it. Even though I come from very conservative Christian Mennonite background, I thought y'all were a bit extreme on the physical boundaries!! Well we broke up going on six months ago! And since then I've realized how selfish and shallow we were in the relationship. I wanted to help him, but I tried by myself, of my own strength. Of course that was bound to fail! It's so easy to waste time, and be selfish when you don't have strong boundaries set up!! I would really do things different if I got another chance! The Lord is such a huge part of my life right now I can't imagine how I even survived that time of my life! I really value y'all and the straight forward advice you give us. God bless y'all so much!

You do a good job at putting out good principles to think about when it comes to purity. Even if someone doesn't decide that suggestion is for them and their relationships, it gives them some extra time to think about it and an area to watch themselves in. For example, your video "It's only Hugging" makes a lot of sense. I like a good hug, and don't feel like it's out of bounds, But have put more thought into that decision because of that video. And if I start seeing that it's starting to go in a bad direction, it's easier to say the hugging should be scaled back till later. :)

A smidge confused... when Nate told Sutton "if we cross these boundaries, I can't be with you" wouldn't you want to stay with them more because you crossed the line? And have had that experience with them and leave them with another person when you have had that connection?
Nate wasn't talking about not have a connection with Sutton, he was trying to say that he wouldn't feel good knowing that he did things that he shouldn't have done, act like it wasn't a big deal, and possibly continue to do it. He was trying to say if God isn't in the center of their relationship and boundaries are being crossed, then he wouldn't want to be in it.

You can tell they are humble, real, non-judgemental, pure hearts type, non-surface level and mature. Sutton is such a classy woman to she carries herself with such poise. That part about thinking about not finding someone is exactly what i have found myself. Ive been spending days in the Bible learning and praying late into the night about the person for me. And he put this on my mind so I know its time for me to start having that thought in my head, but its easy to obsess over the potential of your future spouse. You should always know that God still comes first and honoring your future spouse is just the same as if you are married now. Train your brain to know this. This is my difficulty, because I’m excited to think what God’s plan is for our relationship together with a spouse.

When does the advice start? Oh, 6:05. Thanks. Great reality talk show. Much needed & wanted advice.
I respect Nate's position that he would break up with someone if they went too far; however, I do think it is possible for a Christian couple to recover from going too far and stay together. It's all situational and I'm not saying that is possible or wise for everyone. It's certainly challenging and can hurt a relationship. But you also can learn and grow. I know I have set boundaries that are not strict enough, and then gone a little too far. So then my partner and I amended our boundaries and made them stricter. Unfortunately, sometimes you don't know how far is too far until you've been tempted. In my first relationship I didn't know how strict I needed to be until I experienced that. Obviously, that is not the ideal way to learn, but my point is that physical boundaries should be an ongoing conversation throughout a relationship, and couples can recover from going too far if they seek God and forgive each other.

It's easy to get frustrated even when you are dating, knowing what Gods plan is but being so drawn emotionally and physically to your boyfriend/girlfriend. How do you know the difference between “we met on Tinder, because that’s what Tinder was designed to do” and “God brought us together”? I get confused when people attribute total normal or coincidental things to a supernatural source. Is it a feeling or just a “knowing”? I’ve never experienced that before.
