It's soo funny every time ppl say "madhouse is back", it's just another Yuiichiro Fukushi project. He is one of the best animation producers in the industry and everytime his new project comes out, it turns out to be absolutely phenomenal. @@IdOnThAvEaUsE42069what do you mean meanwhile mappa? Mappa has FAR stronger animators and directors and multiple teams compared to madhouse. Every single recent mappa show was phenomenal. The only time madhouse show looks amazing is when it's Yuuichiro Fukushi(OPM s1, sunny boy, and frieren) at the helm of animation producer.
no matter what, kyoani will forever be my favorite studio. the way they treat staff, their passion and quality is unmatched in my opinion. they will always hold a special place in my heart (ESPECIALLY HIBIKE EUPHONIUM)
For me its always been Hyouka (possibly early anime bias) but they have amazing distinct shows. Hibike Euphonium's ending was sad considering how long the show has been out
Madhouse will always be my favorite studio for its legendary productions, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, One Punch Man, Hajime no Ippo, Redline, Satoshi Kon’s movies… even if they stand out a lot less in recent years…
They did frieren recently which is currently the highest rated anime of all time in many websites. Also the 3rd best selling manga this year only behind JJK and one piece. So I'd say madhouse is still very relevant even in 2024
@ The problem is that Frieren is the latest project of animation producer Yuichiro Fukushi, who is one of the best AniPs in Japanese animation right now. It feels like Madhouse's survival in the industry depends on this man's projects.
Obviously they have done other projects before like Overlord S4, Yamada level 999, the gene of AI and recently Chi. But these are not the animes that glorified Madhouse and marked the year 2023 like Frieren did
To give you an idea, Fukushi is the one who produced the first season of One Punch Man, it is a little thanks to him that the best animators of the time gathered on the project and proposed such a fabulous show.
@afiredark744 Even without Yuichiro Fukushi Madhouse is still capable to output some quality work like Chihayafuru 3, Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru or Orb (not produced by Fukushi). So while I agree that the studio has become more inconsistent the split with MAPPA, it's not like they're unable to do anything without Fukushi.
I used to argue which studio is the best. But over the years, I came to realize that learning about which staff members are in the project is way more interesting. Look at Garnt when he was talking about David Production's sound designs. 28:15 This is not David Production's unique style but rather the works of one sound designer Yasumasa Koyama. Aside from Jojo and Fire Force, he also did -86 -Psycho Pass -Konosuba -Keijo!!!! -Berserk(2016) ( Yeah that one) -Sword Art Online Alicization - Various Fate series including Fate/Strange Fake -That time I got reincarnated as a slime and more There is a video eassy made by Drew Malou explaining details about his work on you tube. You should check out
Completely agree when it comes to judging the body of work put out by the studios. Nowadays, when I think of studios I like, I try and associate them with either their work practices (KyoAni) or what the studio itself is known for (P.A. Works' involvement with the Nanto community, as well as their willingness to consistently do anime originals). As you said, individual staff members and animation teams deserve a lot of the credit in terms of the anime we actually end up watching.
True but with studious like KyoAni, you just KNOW the team regardless of names will deliver. Even after the departure of Yamada (and even when she was there) and the staff who passed away, they still maintained the identity of the studio down to every single department. I can’t name a single studio who could do such a thing. It’s uncommon for a big studio to gather a strong team but it’s rare for them to keep them for more than one season or have them work in other projects and sharing the identity of the show with everyone involved.
Dude, Koyama's sound design is so damn good. Havent watched FF, but he's working on the Kenshin remake that's currently airing and the thing that stands out the most to me are those incredible sound effects. He really is amazing in anything he does. I searched up who worked on them for Kenshin only to find out of course this guy worked on Fire Force, the show everyone talks about for how crazy the sound effects are.
While studio mappa and ufotable are more popular these days. My favorite studio will always be madhouse just because of the sheer amount of classics which came out from this studio. HXH, Death note, One punch man, Overlord, Death parade, No game no life, Monster, Nana, Perfect blue, Hajime no ippo, A place further than the universe and probably their best work ever production wise Frieren are some of my favorites in their respective genre. Even their most recent anime Orb: On movements of the earth is very well made and probably the most underrated show of this season
It doesn't matter which studio makes the anime bhai, it depends on the animation producer. With mononoke (I haven't watched the movie), the producer was "Toshio Suzuki" he worked on many Ghibli movies so I'm assuming he invited some of the Ghibli folks. The studio that people are praising is nothing more than a building where animators work, even the schedule is decided by the production committee, some studios like ufotable invest more in their shows and they can decide the schedule however they want.
I was pleased to hear Onimai get a shout-out when Garnt was discussing Bind. They were the best possible studio to handle that adaptation since it is so heavily character driven and they did a masterful job of it.
I wanted to say at 19:00 Toei changed because their animators unionized and made huge sweeping changes to their structure like subsidies housing, healthcare etc to help animators have a better time working at their studio. Also about Production I.G they have been more working as support studio/producers recently and working more seriously on Legend of Galactic Heroes and Psycho Pass (yes, it has more than 2 seasons currently 6 movies and 3 seasons and continuing) but these shows are only popular in Japan. I will honest Psycho Pass 3 and forward have some of the greatest hand to hand combat animation in a while (other than Link Click)
Toei was unionized from the beginning, unionized in the anime industry is not the same as unionized in the west. Unionized in the anime industry means their animators are paid based on what the company wants it to be and they sometimes don't follow that as they give special privileges to noticable staff members and connections.
Most of Shaft left (seemingly around 2018-2019) and were spread to other studios. Notably, a large portion went to David Productions, and worked on “Fire Force”, and also “Undead Unluck”.
2:12:11 *Cries in Hell’s Paradise* I personally love WIT Studio and Ufotable for their own visuals (the frames are wallpaper worthy) and animation like Fate Heaven’s Feel and Vivy. The visuals in Genshin anime would go insanely hard if the anime tackled the lore like past archons in the archon war
Hell's paradise turned out to be mid bcoz the animation producer of it was also responsible for Attack on titan season 4. And he completely prioritised that over Hell's paradise. But now since Aot is over,, most of the staff from aot finale will move over to Hell's paradise. Season 2 is gonna look soo much better.
@@nonewasmyhandle I don't understand what you're saying. Hells paradise is a great story, s1 didn't really delivered in terms of the adaptation but s2 should be much better since alot of AOT staff will be participating too.
Studio Bones deserves to be on the Instant Banger tier. You are being way too hard on them. Besides MHA and Mob Psycho, they got Bungo Stray Dogs and Vanitas no Carte which are both pretty recent and are amazing but because you haven't watched them, you're basing your entire review on just MHA.
@deathlydashi Mob Psycho 100 is one of the greatest anime of all time according to Garnt himself and I would choose Bungo Stray Dogs over MHA any day. The story and characters are way better. Vanitas no Carte might have some vampire cliches but its story and characters are truly incredible along with an amazing soundtrack. Give all 3 of these a watch. You might enjoy them. Mob Psycho 100 might not appeal to everyone but it is actually amazing.
Bones is still the goat tho, and their projects are gonna get better because final Season of mha is only gonna be around 11 ep & I know they are gonna cook for Gachiakuta adaptation to give it the Mob physco treatment because that animation team is free now
Feels like a lot of ppl in comment section are downplaying MAPPA bcoz of their controversy of overworking animators. Mappa has some of the best animators and directors working under them and almost every single one of their projects looks amazing. Just look at their last 4 projects, Oblivion Battery, Ranma, Bucchigiri, JJK s2. Even the upcoming Zenshu and Lazurus looks amazing. All are done by different teams yet they look amazing. That speaks volume of how good mappa is when it comes to animation. Hate them all for their bad practices, they are one of the best when it comes to animation.
I agree. They do have the most overloaded schedule and big ips but tend to come out of the tunnel rather decently I think they'd be even more prolific if they stuck to only one or two shows instead of hoarding them all
@@sammalla5238they have over 400+ in-house employees though, if the only made 2-3 shows their 200-250 employees would have no work. They have enough members to work on atleast 6 projects at the same time without any issues. It's juts that their ceo is greedy and keeps picking up multiple projects even when the team already has their hands full.
I mean all of that really doesn't matter if you kill your animators to achieve that quality, when they show they can make equally great things without overworking employees they will have the respect, as of now they are a disgrace to the anime industry
Mappa is heavily carried by freelancers, a lot of their in-house staff are gone and its basically just Shota Goshozono carrying projects. Their goal was to rush in becoming the biggest "quality" studio but fell flat in the end with bad reputations which have made them less likely studio to work from. In the end people will realize Studio means nothing and its all about Projects that dedicates what quality is being made.
Out of all the active studio mentioned, only Kyoto Animation, Ufotable and TOEI have strong enough in-house team (read paid on salary) to produce an anime that is 100% in-house. The others are too heavily dependent on (overworked?) freelancers to garantee, if not a consistent level of quality, a consistent visual identity.
I would put Studio 4C on that list if we’re solely talking about strong in house team even tho they’re not interested in making any tv series or “mainstream”stuff
@@Jekiterio that’s for One piece series since Wano arc. They’re literally THE biggest animation studio in Japan and majority of their high production quality stuff from Dragon Ball (including films), Precure, One piece films are made by in-house.
Are you crazy. Akihiro ota, tu yong ce, mori, naotoshi shida, henry thurlow, katsumi ishizuka are some of the best animators in the industry and they are toei in house. And now vincent chansard is also toei in house
gigguk MAD is the definition of elevating a show that was already hard to be elevated from its source (Im talking about Frieren) Give madhouse the top spot it deserves.
KyoAni is the best not just because of the animation quality but also they are the best workplace/home for animators. They care for their animators unlike any other studios
If there's two studios I think you did dirty, it was White Fox and PA. White Fox is the king of despair and time travel. Between Re:Zero, Steins;Gate, Girls Last Tour, and Katanagatari. Usually a study is lucky if they get 2, S tiers to their name. When you get 4 and you only put out 1 or two shows a year, you should earn some respect. Plus they had some other great IPs like Devil is a part timer, and Akame ga kill and executed on those well. With PA, they are mostly original only, and hence, while the animation is always insanely good, so many of their stories end up relying on melodrama or safe story progression so as to not do too much. It sounds bad, but because so many series' are originals, they get extra points. Any original is going to be way more exciting than just an adaptation, as you don't know what's to come. When you have originals like Nagi Asu, Angel Beats, Shirobako, Maquia, and the eccentric family all under your name, yeah...I'm excited for whatever you put out next, especially when I know it's going to be gorgeous.
@@Chitesh-l2j If you knew anything you’d know that any Anime Studio ever has it’s own Reputations made through its anime it produces, for example without FMA Bones wouldn’t be as big as they are today there whole identity came in because of that series & there budget got bigger because of it. Think of it like Kick starter for your company how does one get his foot in the door by making a good product that’s how..!
Gohands has been getting better. I enjoyed The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses and The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today. They also did Seitokai Yakuindomo back in the day, which is one of the funniest anime ever made.
Pretty Boy detective club is a Shaft show that is severely, severely underrated. I don’t know why it’s so low profile to this day, it’s literally Shaft x NisioIsin
might as well do director tier list, cause anime studio identity is not as stronger as back then, but i feel you can still recognize their style by the director
Liden is definitely a dark horse of a studio that is honestly getting better every year. I was scared shitless when I found out COTN was going to be their project, but they delivered there. Better yet, they got Kimisomu (Insomniacs) and that was an absolute S tier of a manga. Was it peak animation? No, but they did an excellent job with what was effectively sold as promotional material for the Noto Peninsula to executives. I badly hope that series gets a sequel, because Liden can do backgrounds extremely well ever since COTN. They also had a huge sleeper - tonari ni youkai san. That is a series that completely flew under the radar and does an excellent job tackling loss and community, something I love to see in a series. It definitely belongs in 50/50, but I definitely believe it's a studio that can do a lot of good when they're not trying to make money playing the slop game, and it seems like they're trying to move away from that anyways.
toei, pierrot, sunrise olm and to a lesser degree tms are all on about the same level and production model. instead of just catering to otaku they think broader and make anime for everyone. because they deal with regular episodes and high level ip they have the best staff retention and some of the best pay in the industry, but scheuduling issues cause the episodes not as great as they can be. whenever they make shorter series, movies or important episodes they can take off the rock lee weights and show they were always the best in the industry
Toei has some of the best scheduling in the industry lol, the only thing they lacked was the resources, because one piece was weekly, some episodes had to be sacrificed in order for others to flourish.
I don't know why we keep judging CloverWorks by Promised Neverland season 2 and WEP. That was years ago and that's only two anime in their large catelogue.
Toei is 50/50, they have a lot of shows that have mediocre to bad adaption. Heck just look at the recent Fish-Man Island Saga remake which is just a cash grap and inferior to the original in how they are adapting the materials, they only have some few outliners because they are IPs that carry the studio that gets the special benefits and even then they refuse to make one piece seasonal which hurts the pacing of the anime since its slower than it has ever been (around 0.5 chapter per episode). Daima is also not that good, it has one of the lowest ratings recently (turned out to be a flop) and it being an anime original series which ended up with Toriyama needing to becoming majorly involved and they still didn't managed to properly execute it. So no Toei is not consistent it has only some few outliners and basically One piece getting all the special treatment despite they are ruining the pacing.
Silver Link stocks might be rising if they do Yozakura Family S2 well. S1 managed to be decent production wise even as the rest of their gazillion shows were falling apart. Going into 2025 though they only got 2 shows so I'm hyped for their future.
You could've scrolled down a little more with mad house they made: death note, monster, hunter x hunter 2011, black lagon, trigun, hellsing, parasyte, no game no life I honestly don't care if they have fallen off a little due to the financial issues they had they're still S tier for me
Favourite Studio has to be Ufotable. Distinct production, very small anime portfolio (plus some duds like God Eater) but if they take on a project it will be the most impressive
A-1 has proved themselves time and time again to make anime even better than their source materials imo. 86 , kaguya sama , magi , wotakoi , makeine , YLIA all have phenomenal adaptations imo. The only other studios which raise the source materials every so often is Cloverworks (especially with bocchi the rock) ,)Doga kobo , kyoani, Wit and shaft imo.
Murayama is the fucking goats of team assembly man first mad house, then he created mappa. Two studios gathered a vissioner but get chorupted by a production commite. Exicited for m2 next project.
David Production are known as the Jojo studio because it proves we live in the best possible timeline for Jojo fans, no other studio could've possibly adapted Jojo as well as DP
disagree, the standard today is much higher when it comes to animation and direction and Jojo is mostly subpar in that. If it was adapted by one of the banger studios it would had better animation, character acting and direction/storyboarding. The best DP did with animation was fire force other than that its meh.
@@WieldMyWordAnimation is one thing, but direction wise, Jojo is already great as it is. Specially DIU's adaptation under Toshiyuki Katou. The only mild disappointment was Stone Ocean.
@@carloscauan7967 The OP and EDs has good direction and that is about it, other than that the show itself has very standard anime direction and would feel kinda outdated today compared to other shows that takes more in use of cinematography and angles.
Studio Pierrot is made Yatagarasu anime this year (which is super amazing and have consistent great quality for all 20ep.) so they really improve their reputation in my eyes))
Nah, both are great. Madhouse has put out more bangers, but they've also got a much longer history and a much larger output in general. I'd say they're about par in terms of consistently great output.
The Revue Starlight Movie by Kinema Citrus is such a hidden gem. I doubt any of the Trash Taste crew has seen it. It's sitting at #135 on MAL but only #4899 in popularity-criminally underrated. Anyone who’s seen it would acknowledge that Kinema Citrus did an amazing job with the film. The cinematography is pure cinema (as in real life level cinematography). Sunrise is just legendary studio. Gintama': Enchousen (2013) had stunning art and animation, and Gundam shows like Unicorn and Witch from Mercury are on par with Ufotable’s work. Bias for 8bit aside, Yama no Susume has some noteworthy animations-better than Yuru Camp or Slime and comparable to Bocchi The Rock. Season 2 episode 14 was entirely made by Akira Hamaguchi, is packed with pure sakuga scenes like walking on a bridge or jumping on a trampoline. As for MAPPA, their "Instant Banger" status is a bit undeserved. JJK S2 felt unfinished with a lot of copying from other popular media.
Was this filmed recently? I remember Garnt going on about how MHA S7 was great and potentially the best season of the show, and now he's back to "eh it's okay" again it seems. At least in terms of the adaptation/animation
ProductionIG is judged quite incorrectly. ProductionIG is a production company which under its umbrella has a studio named ProductionIG as well as Wit studio, both as part of it. So, a lot of the shows which show up when you search prodictionIG are shows where they are just the producers. In the so called its dull phase they (the studio, and not the production house) have mostly made only psycho pass series, which were pretty good, but didnt get popular because of decline in psycho pass popularity post 2nd season. Apart from it, all there recent shows have great animation quality, as seen in heavenly delusions and kaiju no. 8. P.S. psycho pass 3rd season and onwards is actually really good, for those who have not followed it after 2nd season.
@ 44.34, Pokemon is classic, This is not about quality or writing feel like other anime. It was one most important boom in 90's. It kill the mecha genra out right and was one of the force brought anime forward in to west. Anime may only been piece of pokemon franchise. but it is important.

If I had a banger manga that will be anime adapted the studios I would trust the most are: 1) Madhouse 2) Mappa 3) Ufotable 4) A-1 Pictures There's a less than 1% chance that any of these studios will drop the ball if the source material is great.
@@billibenjamin Nope. While I do like the animes that both came out with, they're not exactly the best studios for action scenes. Kyoani seems to be sticking to the cutesy character styles all the time while Wit studio does not really wow me with the action scenes. Don't get me wrong though, I love both Spy x Family and Violet Evergarden. I just wouldn't pick their studios first if I had an action oriented anime or something like a Seinen Genre.
Mappa dropped the ball pretty on AoT S4: I still remember that particularly cringe CGI 3D Maneuvre scene (looked straight out of a PS1 game). Madhouse can be a bit a of dicey pick these days, just like Mappa they rely a lot on freelancers so their production quality will vary depending on their ability to attract the most skilled freelancer animators in the industry (Remember they also did Overlord, a show that I wouldn't call a stand out in term of animation or artistic direction quality). Kyoto Animation is actually very good at handling action scenes too but well yeah you have to be able to stomach the MOE style that is part of their visual identity.
@@levanth560way you think Kyoani😮 can't compete in terms of action animation Kyoani>>>Mappa action,A 1 picture, Madhouse You're acting like the boundary boundary doesn't exist. Their rule is to stick with the slice-of-life genre, but that doesn't mean they can't do well in action. Imagine if they do action anime again. I'm sure it will put Mappa into shame and other studio
Very fair assessment for white fox, they’re very small and don’t have ties that’s able to bring in top tier talent on every other episode of something but you cant compare feel the love for the source material they adapt Mappa did a lot better direction wise in dialogue heavy scenes for me but wit did odm gear scenes consistently better to me at least
I disagree a decent amount with this list. Madhouse is THE best anime studio in Japan, even more than Kyoto Animation or Ufotable. They’ve worked with incredible directors like Satoshi Kon and Masaaki Yuasa, and adapted some of the biggest and best manga adaptations ever with Death Note, One Punch Man season 1 and Monster. Even during their weakest period in the late 2010s and early 2020s, they still released A Place Further than the Universe, Chihiyafuru season 3 and Sonny Boy. They have had misses like Overlord, Bibliophile Princess and Gene of Ai, but every big studio has one less than ideal anime: see the Endless Eight arc or season 3 of Demon Slayer.
they sure was a legendary studio, but we are talking about right now. A lot of those old inhouse staff members has already left the studio or moved on. Also in the end studios means little as it all comes down to projects and getting the best freelancers onboard.
For anyone who complained about mappa just search the work condition in clover. They're the studio than be abuse by the production comitee to churn their project.
Dungeon Meshi is peak, but the rest... meh. I feel like if Trigger given good source material, they can do great stuff. But their original works just suck.
@@Jekiterio since when and according to who? most of the OG team from Production IG that worked together since Guilty Crown (2011) and built Wit from the start still in working in Wit and some of them are currently working on One piece remake
To me, MAPPA is the instant banger Like the other ones on that tier are good but MAPPA has been most incredible imo Its a shame with what happened/going on with it But it makes sense why it was incredible, but not sustainable, I wonder if it will continue Cause Bucchigiri was a good anime I personally liked it but animeation was far below their previous works, probably worse than even clover works, Ranma 1/2 is also alright in animation. Not bad by any means but not MAPPA level
Hopefully won't continue coz there is a huge management change and so far recent and upcoming projects r managed far better than before (jjk and CSM is still a mess though) Projects like ranma should be their priority, consistent animation with better schedule and so far sequels r also taking their sweet time
This list feels heavily biased, which isnt a bad thing but it is worth pointing out. For example olm not being in instant banger but shaft being there even though both have a suppsed lack of something fundamental needed to be s-tier. Shaft lacks recent projects and should ne bumped down to probably will be good.
Madhouse is not in their prime. All of their amazing projects in last 5-10 years came from animation producer Yuuichiro Fukushi. All of Madhouse's other animation producers only produce mid projects that barely anyone remembers. Compared to that all teams working at mappa produces great quality projects. Just look at their last 4-5 anime. Oblivion Battery, Bucchigiri, Ranma, and upcoming Zenshu and jjk s2.

This is not David Production's unique style but rather the works of one sound designer Yasumasa Koyama.
Aside from Jojo and Fire Force, he also did

-Psycho Pass
-Konosuba
-Keijo!!!!
-Berserk(2016) ( Yeah that one)

THANK YOU!
True. I adore Naotoshi Shida from Toei Animation with his works on DBS Broly and SDBH
The ULTIMATE Yapper Gigguk! S tier!!
Don't forget toei also made:
The first slam dunk-one of the best 3D animation
Mononoke(2007)- one of the most unique 2D animation
It doesn't matter which studio makes the anime bhai, it depends on the animation producer.
With mononoke (I haven't watched the movie), the producer was "Toshio Suzuki" he worked on many Ghibli movies so I'm assuming he invited some of the Ghibli folks.
The studio that people are praising is nothing more than a building where animators work, even the schedule is decided by the production committee, some studios like ufotable invest more in their shows and they can decide the schedule however they want.
@@Sanji_artic hes talking abt the horror tv show "mononoke" not ghibli's "princess mononoke"
The entire community fighting over which studios are better but still just unanimously agreeing that KyoAni is the goat is hella based
I was pleased to hear Onimai get a shout-out when Garnt was discussing Bind.
People talking about studios like the buildings animate 🤣.
EXACTLY!
Most of Shaft left (seemingly around 2018-2019) and were spread to other studios.
Notably, a large portion went to David Productions, and worked on “Fire Force”, and also “Undead Unluck”.
A lot came back though, and that's why Monogatari was so freaking good this year.
2:12:11 *Cries in Hell’s Paradise*
I personally love WIT Studio and Ufotable for their own visuals (the frames are wallpaper worthy) and animation like Fate Heaven’s Feel and Vivy.

That means all of these three shows must be less memorable than mha outside of the animation
Bones are milking the shits out of mha with the movies. Impacted their scheduling and its animation.
Bones is still the goat tho, and their projects are gonna get better because final Season of mha is only gonna be around 11 ep & I know they are gonna cook for Gachiakuta adaptation to give it the Mob physco treatment because that animation team is free now
@@Lucifer0407 I didn't watch these yet
A-1 pictures and Kyoto animation are my favourite studios, Mainly because I love sad animes 😂
Kaguya sama has great animation and direction
I agree. They do have the most overloaded schedule and big ips but tend to come out of the tunnel rather decently
I think they'd be even more prolific if they stuck to only one or two shows instead of hoarding them all
@@sammalla5238they have over 400+ in-house employees though, if the only made 2-3 shows their 200-250 employees would have no work.
Their animation tends to sacrifice art quality so it's not my style, especially when it starts to get harder to tell what's happening
Toei arguably has the biggest names under their shadow
Toei does not have strong in-house, they are one of the companies in recent time that are dependent on a lot of freelancers.
Sunrise deserves instant banger, they shown they can handle bangers outside of mecha
gigguk MAD is the definition of elevating a show that was already hard to be elevated from its source (Im talking about Frieren)
Give madhouse the top spot it deserves.
Put respect on white fox's name. Absolutely GOATED studio. The amount of passion that exudes from their works is unparalleled
That’s a bold statement but I’d have to disagree
Nah they have made enough stinkers to not be in the top tier. Still a really good studio tho
When you have originals like Nagi Asu, Angel Beats, Shirobako, Maquia, and the eccentric family all under your name, yeah...I'm excited for whatever you put out next, especially when I know it's going to be gorgeous.
white fox did AGK and i remember the animation looked pretty smooth when it needed to. those sword shots were clean and they have good polish.
My favorite Studio is probably Sunrise. They have some of my favorite anime like Gundam, Cowboy Bebop and Daily Life of High School Boys.
You lost all credibility when you disrespected Bones & Madhouse they do soo many S tier anime
facts!! Like this tier list is TRASH!
He literally explained in the starting, it is not studio itself for banger anime
KyoAni will always be top
Does anyone know which website is garnt using to look up studios and their works?
I don't know why we keep judging CloverWorks by Promised Neverland season 2 and WEP. That was years ago and that's only two anime in their large catelogue.
Mappa is the most overrated studio from all of them.
No, that goes to Ufotable.
@@carloscauan7967fair enough both are Overrated
But Mappa isn't even close to Ufotable in term animation
I'm glad he acknowledged Doga Kobo as the goat CGDCT studio and not the "Oshi no Ko" studio. Before being brought, that studio is famous for that.
Finally i was waiting for video like that from along time
You could've scrolled down a little more with mad house they made:
death note, monster, hunter x hunter 2011, black lagon, trigun, hellsing, parasyte, no game no life

Favourite Studio has to be Ufotable. Distinct production, very small anime portfolio (plus some duds like God Eater) but if they take on a project it will be the most impressive
Impressive animation (in certain scenes only), but bottom tier adaptation
He needed to listen to chat and make another tier above 50/50

And akudama drive
Putting orange over madhouse is a sin.
Yeah wished he'd use MAL bc you can filter out shows for which a studio is only the producer
@ 44.34, Pokemon is classic, This is not about quality or writing feel like other anime. It was one most important boom in 90's. It kill the mecha genra out right and was one of the force brought anime forward in to west. Anime may only been piece of pokemon franchise. but it is important.

No kyoani and wit?

Bones is still the goat tho, and they're only gonna get better because final Season of mha is only gonna be around 11 ep & I know they are gonna cook for Gachiakuta adaptation to give it the Mob physco treatment because that animation team is free now
@@neoparmar2169 Frieren and Sonny boy clear all of mappas most recent work besides CSM and jjk
@@asoleieifretton7578 ahh yes 2 amazing projects out of 15 they put out in last 8 years surely proves that madhouse as a whole is better than mappa. Even if those 2 projects were done by the same team and all the other projects were mostly mid, they are still better than mappa who 9 out of 10 times has amazing projects. Sure.
Bro OLM has been around forever and he's talking about they're new lmfao
istg it made me so angry when he saw uzumaki in ig's catalogue. they were the producers, the fucking PRODUCERS
Where is p9?
You shit on Toei for one piece pacing but ufotable turns 4 chapters of demon slayer into 10 episodes( last one a banger but still)
Plus one piece anime now makes the content better but adding stuff
Diomedéa isn't on the list... unforgivable (squid girl, aho girl, domestic girlfriend, dai mahou touge)
