Henry Cavill wanted out because of the changes they made.... In my opinion eskell being as much of tool as the netflix show makes him out to be is a complete shitshow if I'm honest. Eskell acts more like lambert and that's confusing.
The Witcher TV series has ended with season 3 with Henry's departure, I admit that of course, Liam is quite a good and talented actor but Henry made it exceptional and legendary for any visual adaptation.
If it was season 1 or 2, I wouldn't have been as invested. But at this point Freya Allen is almost as fascinating to watch as Henry was if not more now. I'm too invested after season 3 to NOT give Liam a chance. Plus, I like Liam cause he's Thor's brother lol. But first part of the show, I really only watched it to watch Geralt. But after ALL the theatrics that took place with season 3, vilgefortz being their first really serious opponent, not that the demon in season 2 wasn't, but this is different. This is going to shake the continent. And seeing Ciri starting to access not just her magical powers but wielding a sword too, and the bond that's grown between Yen and Ciri-- I aint turning back now. Ima see it through. (Disclaimer: I have not read the books. And i refuse to read them until the show is over.)
Honestly he is a cool guy and this wouldn't be a issue if......if he had played him from the start. I've seen how he looks as Geralt and its a great looking Geralt but there is simply no way to replace the excellent job Henry did.
I learnt about the Witcher world thanks to Henry and I’ll be always be grateful for that and for his performance as Geralt and dedication to him! But very quickly I was mesmerized by Anya’s performance and her talent, I felt identified and drawn to Yennefer, she became a comfort character for me! I also loved and enjoyed Joey’s and Freya’s talents too! And I can’t help but think how upset I would have been if the Witcher tv series universe ended when Henry stepped down, it would’ve been incredibly incomplete! I’m grateful now that a talented actor like Liam stepped in and decided to continue this role for the last 2 seasons! We’ll get a new take on Geralt and I’m excited to see that, it means I don’t have to say goodbye just yet. Also people like to complain too much! I loved Blood Origin too and people were talking crap to the point that prequel was considered a complete fail 👎🏼

It's very interesting and very telling that HE DID NOT MENTION Henry Cavill ONCE! Could have complimented him for his performance and the character, the time and effort and love that he brought with him, but as I expect the slimy show runners and Netflix said "Under NO circumstances in any interviews reference or bring up Henry's name, as he is dead to us" Tells you a lot about how they felt about Henry, even though he was more of a true geek and fan about The Witcher as many of you know, than anyone else on this show
he mention henry in his instagram post. but he doesn't want to involve to the "war" between henry and showrunners. he knows very well that is a substitute and he just will complete the series in 2 seasons. i believe that(liam) feel akward with this project but he found an opportunity to make a lead role for first time. we know that henry cavill is the heart of the show and the only witcher!!!
ahahah Garalte of Reviere, geez do your homework, it's embarrassing. Liam is such a sweetheart, hope people like him. It must be really hard to fill Henry Cavill's place, or anybody else's I suppose, there are always be people complaining in this kind of situation. We should be angry with the producers not the cast, everyone is really amazing!
just look at him. He's Geralt. Much more than Henry. I can't believe people coming from the video games saying "he's not right for the part". It feels like people were watching the show for Henry and not for the witcher world.
He sounds just like Chris, damn Aussies have deep voices
That might indicate he will nail the Witcher voice and grunt
No hate to Liam but The Witcher series died the second Henry wanted to leave

"Gerald of Rivera"
When you’re rushing and over time, it happens lol
@@WestlifeBunny that mistake perfectly describes this show and his decision to take this role ... THE MISTAKE
Ill give him a chance
Yeah, I'd give him a chance, just not Netflix with more of The Witcher.
Me too!

I'm not going to lol. Made in China version of geralt
I would have given him. But the whole series is a disaster. I am done with it completely. Good luck tho

Netflix did Henry and the source material dirty but I still have a semi enjoyment of the show despite it's Major Flaws

I did do my homework, thanks for checking in! When you’re rushing with PR in your DMs and over time, it happens. 🤷♀
Nine hundred and fifth teen out of ten thousand. That line lets me know that he will be a good Geralt.
I think he's going to do great as Geralt
I like Liam and hope he makes some good stuff, last movie I watched was very good. Russell crowe was also in it.

We came for the witcher world, found it changed beyond recognition, and stayed for Henry. Liam is fine.....the writing isn't.
We know one Gerald of Riviera the white wolf the Calvraine. End of story
😅
Do you think he ever made it to Skellige..?
Did the interviewer call him Geralt Rivera??
Geralt of Rivera? Is that like the Spanish version of the Witcher?
Gerardo Rivera!
Nervous 😬 Im Not Looking Forward To The Change
Won't watch.
Geraldo.
Gerald of herera? Hahahhahaha
Gerarlt of Rivera lmao
We all have our days 😂
Excited for The Witcher cant pronounce his MC's name probably never heard the name 😂 is she one of the witcher director/writers
When you’re rushing and overtime with PR, it happens lol 🤷♀
