Hi there. The table for the strength and proportioning of concrete is found in ESTIMATING BILL OF MATERIALS by Vicente A. Tagayun. Good luck!

Hi, where does the 1:7 cement-to-sand ratio fall if it is not included in the Volume method? Another question is, is the volume method applicable for measuring for Concrete Hollow Blocks?

Concrete proportions is different from CHB. The proportions for cement, sand, and gravel for concrete mixes are shown on 1:45. For concrete hollow blocks, only cement and sand are used and computation will still be the same. If you plan to create CHB from 1 bag of cement, you needed to add 7 cubic feet of sand. The number of CHB produced depends on the thickness. I hope this clarifies concrete proportions from CHB.
