There was another gacha game I played where you picked star heroes, and you levelled them up. You then had slots where you add other characters in to and heroes in those slots inherited the level of your starred characters.
too late, roadmap was their saved-last-effort just incase massive players rage quit (and this situation is exactly what happened rn)

Question: I heard many different Things. Is DH ending Service in US because of lawproblems or something justicial? And are they already planning a new Game? Isnt IT super weird to close a Game and making a so good and nice Update at Same time?
from what we know it's due to the acquisition of the game by Tencent probably in conflict with some US legislation, so they are terminating service in the US market. There are no additional pieces of information to be found on the internet at the moment, at least as far as I know.
I'm no lawyer and couldn't tell you if it is unusual or not, haven't seen it happening before...

The US playerbase contributed a good chunk to the development of this game. Apple is only refunding the past 90 days, which falls outside of the Rook banner window where a lot of us threw down some significant $$. The refund timing is more convenient for the company rather than us players because we already got milked in that rook banner & they didn’t release “real” exclusives this season (thank god).
Apple is also only offering to refund 2/3 of what I spent over the past 90 days, so even then I’m not getting a full refund of what I’ve spent in that time. This company literally just threw us to the wolves and the rest of the community is standing back 🍻 that they’re getting updates from the same people who screwed us over only to get more $$ from everyone. Gacha games will come to an end eventually. Be wise with your $$.
look it like this, you can get 90 days back because of this, if the game was just performing badly and you abandon it you would get nothing... All the money that goes in games are lost the moment they leave your pocket, it is unfair to the US player but it's not like a company is choosing to cut 20/30% of their income lightly imo

Will miss Dragonhiers, but there are hundreds of other good games to spend my $300 on each season. I hope it changes for the better so others can enjoy this as much as I had.
Seems like the US market was the hold up. Shame really, a lotnof My fav CCs come are from that region.

Yo bro, I think if people really want to play the games, they will. I remember Bloodlines Heroes of Lithas was not available in my region but I was still able to play it thanks to VPN. In any case, I like this game and I will continue to play
the problem is they are going to close all US accounts at some point and I don't see player of S4 that got account deleted coming back on VPN unfortunately...

The % people that care enough to deal with that kind of crap is tiny. This is a mobile game people this kind of game really want it to be convenient.
The reason why they are releasing all this good news is to not scare away all the other regions outside of the US. I'm sure everyone outside of US is looking at this news and thinking, will my country be next? Is my country included? Wouldn't it be funny if the entire reason the game has sucked for the past couple seasons was because of some legal issues with the US? Maybe with this out of the way, the game can be good.
