- Julia Hartley-Brewer points out what is missing from Keir Starmer’s six pledges, saying “people don’t start families because they can’t afford a home”.
The cards carried five specific pledges, taken from the wider manifesto, that were meant to demonstrate how a Labour government would have a concrete impact on people’s lives.
The pledges were: cutting class sizes to 30 or under for five, six, and seven-year-olds; fast-tracking punishment for young offenders; cutting NHS waiting lists by treating an extra 100,000 patients; getting 250,000 under-25s off benefits using money from a windfall tax on privatised utilities; and a promise not to increase income tax and to cut VAT on heating.
Julia says: “We need people to be able to have kids! We don’t need to import people to improve the demographics of our country!”

Pledges? They always pledge but then do nothing. Manifesto's aren't worth the paper they're written on. How many times have the majority told the government we don't want anymore immigration? Democracy is lost. Its high time politicians were reminded who is the boss. The prawn sandwich lot or the taxpayers. Immigration above all else is the most important issue of our times. Nothing more than a total closure of our borders is a priority. All our lives have been impacted negatively because of immigration and the types that now flood our country.
Starmer will be whatever we want him to be until he has taken power and then he will be only what he wants to be.

Our Prime Minister has been Tony Blair since the 90's. Every other Prime Minister we have had since has been indoctrinated by the Blair Institute. No matter who we, the people vote for, we will be guaranteed to vote in a Prime Minister under the influence of The Blair Institute. Once Rishi Sunak signs the WHO treaty in a few days time, his job is done. He's accomplished what he's been ordered to do from his puppetmaster who firmly had both hands up his ass and now because he has no further use for our government, Rishi Sunak is nothing to the upper eschalon.
