Thanks Lea! Coming up with ideas is very much a balancing act of came-to-me-instantly, took-a-lot-of-brainpower-to-figure-out, and lets-go-do-3-hours-of-research-on-RUclips/blogs 😂 Glad you got ideas from this one! 🥳
I love this journal ideas. I add a recipe pages of meals which used to eat in Christmas, in Argentina we mix European and latin meals because it's too hot here in December. Also, I add some rituals to attract whealth that you can do in those days.
Hello from London! Thanks for this - it's actually given me some ideas. I didn't realise until recently that, when pencilling in the pages for this year's journal (so I can make sure I have enough pages for the entire year), I didn't account for the fact that I'll be in Australia for two weeks over Christmas with my partner's family. I don't take my BuJo on holiday with me so there's no point setting up weekly spreads for those weeks SO I now have a couple of spare pages to implement some of these super fun ideas! Also, as excited as I am about the trip, it has made me want to fully make the most of all the cold, cosy, Northern Hemisphere Christmas things so I can keep track of some of the things I want to fit in before we go away in a fun, festive way in my journal! 🌟
The Christmas Day plan can be useful to workout cooking timings. You want to eat at roughly X time so you work back from that. The turkeys needs to go first and takes this long, how many oven shelves do you need for veg and sides, what can be done at the same time, what uses the stove top. Doing this plan in advance can help you work out if you can do it all on the day or if you need to prep some stuff in advance (particularly useful if the number of people or dinner you are doing has changed since last year)
Your videos are so helpful! I love how your spread ideas are actually unique! Sometimes that can be hard to find on bujo RUclips (no hate to anyone, of course!)
Wow, this Christmas spread is fantastic. In your movie marathon (merr-a-thon, lol), I noticed you missed “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Personally, for me, I grew up watching “The Sound of Music” at Christmas every year and still enjoy it every December. 😘
I - a declared grinch at heart - enjoyed this video way more than I expected! (Nothing keeps me from watching, not even the ‚season of doom‘ as I call it 😄) I do love everything about Halloween, but where I live & grew up, it’s not a thing (yet) (btw if you enjoy spooky funny songs - check out „poltergeist“ by lolnein - it’s an annoying earworm for me, but I still love it & it‘s Humor 😄) Love your take on the season & the spreads! I just went shopping for some washis & stationary 😇😄 (your last video was a lovely mix of what I already got and was contemplating about getting 😂 and yeah, not usually into Pastel/neutral colours but really getting into the vibe ^^)
These seem like they would be good ideas to use from year-to-year. Did you do this in your "working" bullet journal or in a separate journal just for the holidays or special things?
@@JashiiCorrin OOOOH! An R&D journal! That is a fantastic idea!!! One place to try all new ideas! I think I'm going to add some of these to my regular journal! But I'm also thinking about a special holiday journal for year to year holiday memories!
Great video Jess, how on earth do you come up with all of these. I didn't know I needed a savings tracker for next Christmas, but there's one going in the back of my reading journal as I type this. THanks

I love how you introduce new ways to use the Alastair method! My gifts and cards list is going to be so much more useful this year 💟
Haha awesome! I love using the method for anything I can break down into repeated stages 💪
You're brilliant! How do you come up with all of this! You showed me spreads I need in my life that I never knew I needed 😉 lol

Great additions 😄👏💜
I use a wrought iron ornament tree. Reusable year over year. It 6’ tall so fills the space like a tree, but without the waste or maintenance.
Oh nice! Great way to be more sustainable 💪

Glad you got some ideas from this one! 😄💜 as someone who has only even experienced a summer Christmas, and cozy winter Christmas sounds awesome ☺️
I like the advent calendar idea!
Glad you liked it! 😄💜
Thanks Jashii! It's rare for me to catch a premiere.😄
Greetings from Austria!💜💜💜💜💜
Glad you could make it! 😄💜
"The time between now and Christmas is going to go faster than you think." Way harsh, Jess! 🤣 True, but harsh! Now I'm making a scream face!
It was a message to myself, haha 😂
So good! I love these ideas! Now how to fit them in…. New journal perhaps?😉
This seems like a Long Term Collections kinda thing.
I’m always keen for a new journal 🥳😝 glad you liked the ideas! 😄💜

Excellent explanation 👏 timings can be super important when you’re trying to cook a big meal 💪

Thanks! I do aim to collate more extensive ideas lists so that people get value out of those types of videos 😄💜
I love these all, and I can't wait to implement some of them into my Christmas spreads! Thank you!
Most welcome! 😄💜 glad you liked them!
Loved this. Some really good ideas.
Glad you enjoyed it! 💜😄
Well, I just went and bought a bunch of washi tape 😂🤦♀️🤷♀️

Thanks! This one is just an ideas type thing, so I missed A LOT of Christmas movies that I'd probably watch in a marathon 😝💜💪
Amazing!
Thanks 😄💜 hope the ideas were useful!

Love this great job!!!
Thanks Kaye! 😄💜
I need gifts for my wife cause she watches you and loves to bullet journal. She's in the Deb squad she said. Do you have a video like that?
Oh yes! A gift guide for bullet journal people is a good idea
I do have a video that might help! 😄

I also have a separate video about my personal favourite supplies which might have some more ideas for you:

What is a Christmas basket?
It's a decoration my mum has 😄💜 It's a wooden basket full of pinecones and fake holly berries; so cute! 😋
