Thanks to Distrobox I am running DaVinci Resolve Studio with zero software issues in Linux. My main gripe with it over the Windows, Mac or even iPad version is that there is NO support for AAC, which pretty much everything uses so prepping files for editing can occasionally be a pain in the butt if the source files use that codec. It also lacks the online accounts features, so no direct uploads from Resolve itself, but that’s super minor.
True
How's the Video?
pretty good☺
do you use windows or only linux
and which distro do you use
nice
@lolff1566 Thanks brother
2:04 Lightworks is not opensource, it's freemium. They announced opensource version but actually only opened several VFXs.
Yeah
Lightworks is closed source, is code is not publicly available nor is it free to redistribute or modify

@@SinghNarayanOm I used to use Kdenlive 2 years ago and the tutorials they have is just basics, alot is missing like making own transitions, smoothening the effects, motion blur, stability also

Nah bro, video editing on Linux still sucks. Kdenlive is awful and Resolve only works on a select few distros. You have to force it on most distros and it crashes often. Lightworks will only export in 720p so its off the table.
Video editing is still the land of MacOS. Maybe Windows if you use Adobe.
Maybe
Have you tried kdenlive? (On something more rolling or flatpak?) It is very powerful. Only the interface is a little complex. If it is paired with natron, blender and ardour, I could become a whole movie grade video editing suite. Blender for 3d effects, natron for 2d and 2.5d effects and ardour for very advanced audio editing (kdenlive has advanced features but lacks very advanced ones).
@@bhargavjitbhuyan9394 I have been trying kdenlive off and on since its been around and have always found it to be very buggy and unstable.
@RationalBeing-rh1zf true
Lightworks will only export in 720p when you use the free version. Paid version is amazing on Linux.
