Apologies for the down-thumb... it's the first I've ever given to sailrite. I look to sailrite for guidance on all my canvas work -- t's the only youtube channel I've found that does such a great job explaining how to hide raw edges and difficult to sew items. This particular video, however, was simply "sew it on, and cut away the old material". Maybe you're simply a victim of your own success, but I honestly expect more. :(
Hi Matt, This cover project was intended to show a fast and easy way to make a trailing boat cover. We simply sewed panels of Top Gun 1S fabric together then placed it over the boat and created a few pleats. Then we traced the outside edge, trimmed, reinforced edges and used binding to finish the cover. So... yes it was a quick and dirty way to complete a cover, but it does work and does save time. As you know there are many ways to complete a project...
Made the cover look better IMO!

I switched it to a thumbs up.
I shouldn't have down'd it in the first place....
