Pink & orange...quite popular in the late 60's & 70's (yeah, I'm old). Always love the combo and you did a brilliant job with them Denise. Thank you for the hint of using gesso with acrylics. I'm not a painter so I appreciate the information.

I hear you. I have a studio full of large canvases. I donate a lot of them and sell a few of them but I am with you on the flat right now. I love how those turned out. It might be just playing but I think there is a place for that in someones life.

Denise, I love color and I’m gonna share that I was a little shocked at how bright these colors were but then you toned them down just enough to make me love them! Your 2nd fave was my fave with that darker part that reminds me of a rose. They all ended up so pretty!

I've got this pages to prepare for a book. But i dond know if i'll use watercolor to do them or just acrylic. I don't want them to busy because i'll write in them. Maybe i can put some stenciling and more stuff in the pages with the initial. But i'm not sure. Will try to make some experiences this weekend. What is your advice since you work with both mediuns? I'll make a book with the sheets

I used to work on canvas and boards... took up too much space! Thats how I got to where I like paper now! 😊

How do you get that acrylic paint out of the ferrule of those brushes?
Just wash in water. I’ve not had issues. 😊
