      Now as a human. And a lover of warhammer. I find what they did evil. And we should purge these filthy xenos from the cosmos… religious mission? If it wasn’t given by the emperor that sounds like heresy….
      Okay jokes aside. What they did is obviously evil. But is it evil to them? They never killed people for fun. Or killed us off permanently period. Unlike the gravitals. Perhaps to them intelligence or sentience or life in general is a gift in general and to them maybe we abused this gift. Maybe they viewed our attempts at a galactic civilization like a cancer spreading in its host. So they in their own ways “fixed” us. And to those who resisted the hardest they were the ones truly punished. Now yes this is evil. But to them? Perhaps they viewed their actions not just as morally right but maybe they thought it HAS TO BE DONE…

      That’s the part of all this that makes me disagree with Vile’s attempt to paint humanity and the Qu as being on the same level of morality. Nowhere in the story nor humanities actual history have we ever been offended by another sentient creature’s attempt to change the world around it, and because of this offense subjected the entire species to our will. Clearly the Qu knew we were sentient and could express consciousness, desires, and our inspiration to colonize the stars. This is what offended them to the point that they eradicated humanity as we knew it and for this the Qu are far more evil than humanity.

    I personally love how obscure the depiction of Qu is. We don't get a descriptions of their structure or weaponry. One time, they just came along and humanity fell. Humans were able to detonate whole systems, but they still fell. It gives Qu that edge of unknowable horror. They don't "kill" you, don't "devastate", "disintegrate", "liquify" or any other thing, they, by using some abstract and unknowable means, just *make you lose.*

    • @Akabans999
      @Akabans999 4 дня назад +91

      Plus fact that Qu are disturbingly similar to final depiction of Astermorphs and book gave no concrete final fate of humanity just that one day they just disapeared without trace.

    • @damenwhelan3236
      @damenwhelan3236 4 дня назад +40

      @Akabans999 thats to imply the qu did infact destroy humanity, whole.
      Leaving only twisted genetic forms.
      The idea of "the qu are humans" is interesting, but i find it too shallow too simple and reduces the horror.
      We know that humans will do horrific shyt for horrific reasons.
      But the alien motives, alien means and alien forms of the qu is more horrific if they are that, alien.

    • @KL-un8sf
      @KL-un8sf 4 дня назад

      If you read the book the Qu do not wipe out space borne humanity who later become the Asteromorphs. The Qu return after leaving the galaxy and in their hubris they had fallen behind humanity and get wiped out as revenge although it is implied some may have escaped. The Qu are definitely aliens though that much is clear and their motivation is explained as well, they see themselves as the chosen gods of reality and the only life allowed to exercise any agency or dominion over reality. They change the Star Children simply because they want to put them in their place.

    This is awesome, the Trinity of Absolute Evil is finally complete (The Qu from All Tomorrows, Judge Holden from Blood Meridian, and AM from I have No Mouth and I must Scream.)
    Here are ideas for villains that need to get Analysis Evil videos.
    1. The Prophet of Truth from the Halo Series
    2. Fire Lord Sozin from Avatar the Last Airbender
    3. Spec Ops: The Line either Martin Walker or Colonel John Konrad.
    5. Saw Gerrera from Star Wars (Granted I could see this video being part of the weekly star wars videos you've been doing?
    6. Kratos from the God of War series
    7. Colonel J. Wesley McCullough from The Planet of the Apes series.
    8. Sentinel Prime from Transformers One
    9. Megatron from Transformers One
    10. Two Face from the Arkham Series (Especially with the recent entry Arkham: Shadow.)
    11. The Joker from the DCAU
    12. Frank Lucas from American Gangster (Denzel has now appeared twice on your channel.)
    13. Queen Myrrah of the Locust Horde from Gears of War
    14. Richard Prescott from Gears of War
    15. Jianzhu or The False Avatar Yun from Avatar the Last Airbender (He is from the Avatar Kyoshi Novels.)
    16. Emperor Shaddam IV Corrino from Dune
    17. The Shang Merchants or Earth King Feishan from Avatar the Last Airbender (They are the villains from The Avatar Yangchen Novels.)
    18. Aku from Samurai Jack
    19. Makoto Itou from School Days anime
    20. Jimmy Egan from Pride and Glory
    21. Dracula from Castlevania (separate videos on the game version and the Netflix version.)
    22. The Zeffo from Star Wars (Mainly the game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order it would be nice to hear your take on the Zeffo and how they compared to the Kwa or the Rakata Empire.)
    23. Agent 47 or Dr. Ort-Meyer or even Providence from the Hitman games
    24. Wikus or MNU from District 9.
    25. Doctor Niles Samson from Gears of War (In case you don't know he is the creator of The Locust Horde.)

      @WyattDucar 6 дней назад

      @@SearcherRyan Totally agreed even though the gameplay from Codename 47 doesn't age well. I think the story from that first game including Dr. Ort-Meyer was great. Considering not only he was funded by Providence (at least according to the Modern Hitman Trilogy.) but also he is the creator of agent 47 and the main father of the five. The Agent 47 Birth of the Hitman comics did a great job covering this backstory. Ultimately even if the first game may not age well I still think Dr Ort-Meyer is a great villain in the Lore of Hitman considering it was his actions that lead to everything that we see in the game.
      If the video is mainly focus Agent 47 then it would be interested considering the whole debate of whatever or not his victims deserve to die like what ones that are justified (for an example the Meat King from Hitman Contracts and Dr Ort-Meyer from the first game.) I think the ambiguity of 47 really shines in Hitman Contracts a lot in which I considered that game to be the darkest and the best in the series.
      If they want to do a third hitman film If I was the producer and director of the project I would rather adapted Hitman Contracts (for the first half of the movie when he is injuried.) and Codename 47 (Ending with the death of Dr Ort-Meyer.) or Blood Money (mostly for the final mission and ending.) as the second half.
