between bitdefender and avast, what would u recommend? leaning towards bitdefender as it seems easier to use (especially i would also install it for my dad´s laptop, only needing a scan button and not much settings he can messed up)

In mid 2021 bitdefender was beaten by kaspersky, and avast & kaspersky are very close from eachother. I suggest u install either kaspersky or avast cuz they are the best free options. U wont make a mistake choosing between them.

Kaspersky slows down your Pc/Laptop in performance. I wouldn't recommend it!
360 Security is the best in performance!

kaspersky is russian which is already a red flag now, and also i used to have it and i saw an 11% decrease in performance in some games.. also kaspersky kept flagging normal verified games like csgo and mount and blade as viruses and i had to keep manually making exceptions.. bitdefender isnt free anymore

Hey i have this problem with my laptop when i start it up it automatically takes me to trouble shoot menu and and ive watch all your videos of how to get past but nothing is working also it wont even give me the option to reset the computer and before all of this it kept asking something about a hard drive not being there can you please help me out

It sounds to me that your hard drive may be bad. Best solution is during boot up hit delete key multiple times and see if your hard drive is visible in the BIOS. If it is showing up then it will be a software issue. If it is not showing up may have to open laptop and check connection to hard drive and possibly replace hard drive. If you can safe boot, right click windows and go into disk management and make sure you have atleast one hard drive on there typically default your operating system will be named C:
