ITS OK NOT TO BE OK

Have my dates wrong again 🙄oh well🙄
Obsidian Rain
Obsidian rain bombards
my mind.
I have nowhere to go.
I cannot find a shelter of any kind.
If only I could paint
the walls of my brain
in colours of the rainbow,
or take a knife and
cut out these shades of grey.
Why must I live with this pain?
Don't tell me to give myself a shake.
I do not choose to feel this way.
There is no on/off switch that I can locate.
So I must ride these waves again
until the storm subsides
while the world goes as normal outside.
And I lie here drowning in the darkness of my mind.
