actually, yes we did. in the Big Bang job while Eliot and Chapman were sitting in the car, waiting for General Atherton to kiss his daughter goodbye and leave, Chapman made a comment about how it used to be easier when they took care of the entire family. family. family, that includes the children. That's what Eliot did and he will never be clean of. and, yep, I'm crying. if you notice, Eliot is always the one to first notice a kid in trouble and then takes care of it.

So I'm not the only one with that fan theory! I too find my heart broken into a million pieces. I wish so so bad I could step through my computer screen into their world and tell him he's redeemed himself... that yes, for many people, including that child/children, his face was the last thing they saw before death, but for many others, his face is etched into their minds as the man who saved them, whether from violent drug dealers, Russian kidnappers, an abusive father, etc etc. And I wish I could tell him that witnessing his redemption convinced me not to give up on my own potential for redemption.

Season 1 episode 6 The Miracle Job. They had gone to Sophie's play the previous night, and he was telling Hardison that it was the worst night of his life. Hardison commented that he must have been in worst situation before, and he had flashback about the Russian Roulette... but "No, that (Sophie's play) was the worst." XD
