Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us...I love blueberries however, I have been apprehensive about growing my own, everything I have tried in my Florida backyard has been a flop. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated, once again thank you. God Bless You Always
Thank you very much. I love your videos and am extremely inspired by how young and knowledgeable you are and how simple and easy you explain the process. May God continue to shine his light on you. @@plantvibrations
Thanks for the video. Would you mind sharing how your plants are doing now? I have only one plant -- and maybe that is the reason -- but I do not have any berries. What months should I typically expect to have berries. I believe it is a Northland Blueberry and have it in a container since I have alkaline clay soil. Would adding another plant be beneficial even if the tag says self-pollinating?
You should typically expect berries towards the end of summer. And yes often even if they’re self pollinating having a second will great increase potential fruiting.
How do you know that the 1.25 cup of acidifier will be sufficient to get your soil down to a pH of 4.5ish? Do you know it’ll lower the pH by 2 points? Thanks for the video!
You can do a soil test to check, but if your soil is naturally above 6.5, it will be a challenge to get your soil to lower permanently, you’ll need to apply acidified every year likely
My man Devin this is a great video and I like that your doing all types of plants, flowers, vegetables, and fruits. I do have a blueberry tree in my yard not doing well. I wish I could send a picture of it so you could give me advice. Keep going Devin we all enjoy your videos.
I've been wanting to give blueberries another shot! Thank you for this video....do you add the acidifier once per season? Or does it have to be done throughout the season?
I use- peat moss and coffee grounds. They’re great for nutrients and acidified requirements.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing
Good info. Been thinking about growing some in pots again.
You should!
Nice! I learned so much. Would love to see your blueberry plants how they look now!
I’ll do an update video soon!

Have you added acidifier to your soil?
@@plantvibrations No I didn’t think of that but I will add it. Thank you
