Hello Susannah, in respect of the failure to reach pressure I’ve had this myself on a previous occasion. As you have suggested it’s purely down to the extra bulk of the vegetables so just need a bit more liquid if you have more density of food. Love the fact that you posted this albeit not a perfect outcome as it makes us all feel we are not alone when things don’t always go according to plan. Very helpful summary at the end. Keep up the good work, hope waiting for the new replacement doesn’t drive you potty 🤣. Any update on the book? All the best CFP.
hi Susannah. Just another option I have a 2 pan stackable that fits in the ninja. It has 2 pans and 2 lids one lid is vented. I use the vented one all the time for rice on a trivet above the curry but in your case I would put the shallow rack in, then curry in the first pan and stack the second pan with the rice on top with the vented lid. When it’s cooked you can remove both and dump the rice in the pot on sauté to make your fried rice. I do appreciate that you try to cook with the basic ninja accessories but sometimes you have to splash out a little to make life easier, especially if you make a lot of dishes that have rice. Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your channel and have been inspired by you. Thank you.
I bought them on Amazon but I’m in the USA. Will be arriving in the Uk for 5 months in May. I will be buying the UK 15 in 1 and will have to search on Amazon UK to buy them
Love Chinese style curry Thanks for taking the time to explain how to tweak but as you said flavour is the most important thing. As for ninja pot I also have been on notification list for quite sometime. I ended up buying an expensive but very good alternative on Amazon. Have a great weekend
Looks delicious and great to see the rice was really good anyway, we have all had a few trials that we have to adapt and overcome. The finished dish looks great, but as you say maybe your original pot in pot method, thanks for sharing x
great blog susannah , im always a bit frightened to cook the rice in the bottom of the pot incase it caught, i much prefer to cook it in another pot as per your previous vid, it looks very good and tasty though, i must ask you, is there any way you can use the 15 in 1 to sous vid as im very interested in that till you next vlog take care
Hi Suzanne, i have had this a good few times with the pressure cooker. What i find really frustrating is you have to empty the steam and if not cooked properly i have had to redo the pressure. So double amounts of steam in my kitchen which isn't good! I'll try this recipe looks good.
Hi Susannah. Lovely looking curry. 😋. No need to apologise as we are all learning as we go along, and thanks to you, we’re learning a lot. Can I ask when did u order your new pot as I am on the notification list for when it’s back in stock but not heard anything. Thank you
I’m waiting for stock still too. Ninja are replacing mine for free luckily. I can’t really use sear/saute now as everything sticks no matter what I do with setting and oil
Thanks for choosing to put this video up Susannah - we all need to learn from our mistakes to get the best out of our 15 in 1's!

That sounds ideal! I agree that working with what you have isn’t always the way. Do you have a link for these? Or where did you purchase?

Learning through 'failure'.
An honest and great vid. Thanks as always

Is that where you vacuum pack meat and cook in water? No idea!! That may be above my cooking skills! I don’t say never as I’m learning all the time.

It’s such a pain when it happens!

@@susannahskitchen oh ok. That’s good they’re replacing it for free did you. Fingers crossed for when it’s back in stock. 🤞
Bear in mind that fry light and other such spray oils ruin non stick coatings x
Hi, Is there evidence of this?
@@susannahskitchen just read on lots of ninja airfryer sites where people have experienced it x
