@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Definitely! The Redboy dog, Robinsons Apache was just outside of my bases front gate. I went to a yard that had either kids or grandkids from Ch. Termite. I was suuuuch a damn greenbean back then!! Great times.
A very interesting interview Thanks for putting it together SCHOOLBOY and discussing new topics with Bob Finley I enjoy the old-timer Dog-men post the most ...💯👍 ..
Great information, just love the history and stories. I learned an awful lot by just sitting back listening, I’m happy to soak it all in. Keep it coming, good stuff School Boy👍🏽. 78sport you too 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I just rewatched this great interview. I found it interesting where your buddy who got your blood started adding more Bullyson in it and started getting all black dogs which he should, now this is where it gets trippy. The dogs started coming out Buckskin and Red even with 2 black dogs being bred. That's just a solid family line of Bulldogs.
Great interview Mr. Garcia. Happy for you, that your channel is thriving. Man this one brought back memories of my father. Used, clean transmission oil. Crazy, but I seen it work!
Thank you very much. I appreciate your support. There's many home remedies that are effective and work, and sometimes they seem controversial but just like many products that are available, medicine, supplements, dewormers, skin products, the home remedies have been tested in real time by the average person or family.
Good interview my friend... Your content is solid, no click bait and reporting on nonsense.. The novice need to know the historical perspective of the breed, from those that were there. Not regurgitated tall tales. The truth, rather its liked or not always needs to be told! As you know, when you talk to dog people, your be on the hook for hours..lol. My wife, in years past, would ask me who are you talking for 2 hours long distance...I would tell her my dog friends, she would shake her head and laugh and tell me your paying the phone bill...
I appreciate your words and support. The responses to my are very positive and supportive and the content will continue. I'll have more experienced dogmen in the future as well as continuing with the mini series with Hunterman and dogs and shows from the past. My wife said(says)the same thing but after 40+ years she's used to it. 😂

Mr Finley speaks pretty fast. I had a hard time understanding him. I changed the playback speed to 0.75 to slow his speech down , its easy to understand now. Great interview, lots of knowledge being shared. Thanks Mr Garcia
Smith's Bootlegger, my favorite product of Finley's Bo. I got my first ones from Herbert Ate's (The Deacon) Blackwater River. I was in love with the Steel Fire's Paddy dogs but I learned that the Bootlegger's dogs were better. I got my second Bootlegger dogs from aka Country boy Macon Ga. And my favorite Bootlegger dog, Grand Champion Booger Bear. I blowed smoke on him many times. Country boy liked to smoke.
Great interview, sir. I could listen to Mr. Finley all day. He reminds me of Boomhauer from King of the Hill. They speak with the same fast cadence. In the video, you guys discussed the throwbacks. Back 15 years ago I bred a litter of triple bred Skull pups and there wasn’t a black one in the bunch. All reds and fawns with lots of white marks. Two were solid white. People thought I was bullshittin them when I told them how they were bred. In my opinion, a black dog has an advantage in the pit because he’s hard to see, especially when the scratching starts. A dog with lots of white will stimulate his opponent visually, provoking him to scratch. Advantage or not , those old Colby dogs were some fine looking animals. I personally favor dogs with light colored faces, because it’s easier to read their faces. ( I like to know what they’re thinking ) I just lost my dog, Jack, who didn’t wake up from surgery. He was hit by a train and had a rear leg amputated. He recovered quickly and soon was back to running around and playing rough and ended up smashing his nub into the porch.( Trying to jump onto the porch. Front legs made the landing, but his backend wrecked into the porch. Right on his amputated leg and nuts. Turned his nuts dark blue for a week! He was such a good boy. Went everywhere with me and slept in the bed with me. He was one those real pretty pied dogs. Kinda like Stompanato looked. Damn, I’m crying now
Great comments and Mr Finley provided alot of information from the past for which I'm truly grateful. Sometimes people critize the colors of pups in a litter without understanding how color patterns work. It's hard losing a dog, especially one of our favorites that we've become attached to. Jack lived a good life while you had him and you'll always have good memories of him. Respect to you
I personally saw the Finley Bo vs Lonzo Pratt show. When the dogs went together Vindicator bit Bo so hard in the shoulder. The blood squirted over the wall into the crowd. I believe Bo on that last scratch was going into shock and was hurt really bad.
That's why you have to Love ur Dog,And Finley Bo won 3 or 4 after he stopped, and at the Top of the food Chain as a producer.I'm glad Mr.Finley took Bo home after he Stop because we want have the Greatest Litter or Top 3 Litter of All time.Jeep,Charlie, Missy,Holly, and Alot more Champion, and Grand Champion Dog's.
I saw some of those Chinese fighting dogs. Atlas Brewer took me and V. Jackson to see them. This fellow had about twenty of those dogs. About a month later some Chinese guy who was on I've got a secret tv show. He was trying to introduce these dogs into the USA for large money prices. That N.C. dog man already had them. Could buy one dirt cheap. Lonzo Pratt and Rex Byrd tried their dogs on those Chinese dogs. Those Chinese fighting were not any good except a pet.
Spook was a funny buckskin color so the color of Honeybunch is no surprise and their structure is almost identical so when those Bullyson or Eli Jr dogs throw a light color dog with those black tales it goes back to Spook.
