Here in germany in 1994 channel VIVA was launched as a local Music TV channel, "The Dome" was a a big live show from german Channel RTL2. Because TMF was more succesful than MTV in the netherlands Viacom took over TMF in 2001. The Music Factory stopped with April 30th 2002 with the its original programmes in NL and some years later in Belgium. From May 1st 2002 TMF was only a clip channel with pop and black music videos, no more trance or techno.
