It's obvious, Randy is a hell of a nice guy...and a great player! People who never got to see Jimi Hendrix can get a little of what they missed...Thanks Brother!
Lol, I listened to about 11:00, thought to myself, "hell of a nice guy," and scrolled to the comments. Yours was the first comment I came to. Pretty funny.
Perfect post, E.Can't say why but been on a RH bender this whole week. Love the 'gems' like Drifting.

I agree, one of the most, if not the most, pleasant entertaining interview.....I'm going to.his websight and check out when he'll be in my neck of the woods
Randy is too humble. He is the only artist that has really paid tribute in a way that has kept the music of Hendrix alive. Props Randy. Lifetime fan!
Randy is so cool and humble.
Jimi has been resurrected. Randy you are AWESOME!!
I saw this guy back in the 80's at a show in Austin . He nailed the Hendrix solos and sound .. blew me away .
Have you seen Stevie Ray Vaughan?
@@eddiegodoy5120 SRV ain`t got $#!t! on Randy, lol!
Thank you for all the great comments! We are working on some full DVD series of Randy including a Guitar training DVD...
I have been watching Randy since 78 and I can say if you never got to see Jimi , Randy is in my opinion the Best Hendrix act ever ! he truly has the gift and if Jimi was alive today he would be honored and probably call him Son .
Janie needs to get Randy on every Experience Hendrix show. I respect all the players, but Randy is the closest thing to Jimi!
Randy is a hero - the guy is keeping the memory Jimi alive and he's one helluva player and showman - he's a really great guy too.
Randy is truly one of the most Amazing shows I have ever seen, and I have seen many! Randy performs for the people 200% every time I see him. If you have never seen him live put it on your bucket list!!! He loves to travel to new places so tell your favorite Venue and watch him live!!!
WHAT AN absolutely beautiful human being. No wonder he is such a blast to watch!
Randy - you've got a beautiful soul!
Randy fulfilled a dream so many of us had after hearing the sound of Jimi the first time....to play a guitar like he did. Randy has absolutely nailed it....I never thought anyone could ever do that. I saw him 2x...once at Newport '69....check out the pic I took from that concert...and once at the LA Forum....thanks Randy for bringing his spirit back!

Just discovering Randy & will see him on the Moody Blues Cruise in 2014. Loving how well he does Hendrix stuff. thanks for keeping Jimi's music alive!
Randy Hansen is an awesome guitar player, and no one plays hendrix better than him. And he has been playing with experience. Give the man some credit
"The Angels have been guiding me..." ABSOLUTELY.
i saw randy probably 20 years ago and i was totally blown away.....you dont even notice that he's a righty....or white...lol ... he was just awesome
yea didn't know Randy is left handed yet he plays right handed and never knew Jimi himself was right handed til I read his bio..
Randy truly respects jimi he is not copying hendrix its all love and respect being in tune with him.thanks randy
im adicted to hendrix id love to see him in england
This the first time i see a interview Randy Hansen I got to respect his humbleness. And he one the best Hendrix imitators.
I think Randy Hansen has a great show. He's aexcellent player. I am appreciative what is doing and has done for the preservation and enhancement of Mr. Hendrix's artistry. A humble man.
Randy you deserve so much more fame and attention, people don't realize that the only one capable pf doing what you are doing had bee dead for over 50 years, and you have taken the roll as his apprentice and you became the master of your own twist on Hendrix, delivering the same style and feeling but with your own personal twist.
You're a fkn treasure.
Jimi was taken away from us to soon and thanks to Randy he keeps us all thinking about Jimi and what his music meant to us all. I was 12 yrs old and my older cousin who was 17 and his buddy were on their way to Woodstock and stopped at the house to ask my mom if I could come along. Needless to say my mother wouldn't let me go school came first and to this day I am still pissed off about not getting to see the Master at work
budsaplenty your mom sucks even though school is important jimi is historical
Ya shoulda snuck out ;)
Come to Ontario Canada
Man to perform
such a great band
Thx god you came to this earth.
What a true gentleman. Humble, honest, modest, kind... What a groovy cat, man...
The band I was with in the 70s played at the same club as Randy in Honolulu. I haven’t seen him since then. If I recall he’s pretty small, I'm guessing about 5'7" or so. I also remember he was painfully shy offstage, but just exploded when he went on. I never would have guessed he would make a lifelong career out of it. More power to him.
Great genuine guy, great guitarist.
I close my eyes and listen to Randy and always puts a smile on my face.
Wow, saw this guy in a Cincinnati Club, BOGARTS. 1979. can't believe he's still doing it.
Saw randy when he played with Blackmore rainbow in Oakland and was shocked when randy headlined! Randy is the best hendrix impersonation I've ever heard. He can play every single note even all the live stuff and that is truly amazing
HE REALLY DOES PLAY JIMI NOTE FOR NOTE
Randy you are awesome, as a player, a family man and a great teacher! Thank you!!
i wish Randy would come back & perform on Maui again = GRRREAT performer who really keeps Jimi's spirit alive !!!
Thank you ,Randy for keeping Jimi's music alive.

So Fine! Saw Randy Tonight and he is Phenomenol!
I was three months old when Hendrix departed this Earth. RH was the only way I ever got to experience anything like the master- he is a great man.
What a cool dude! Rock on Randy
Hey Kevin, this would work well on a biography DVD!
It's very cool, thanks to such an interview, to get to know a little better a guy, seen mostly as an impersonator.
Randy Hansen is a nice AND talended person.
Ok, this is awesome. Knew of Randy playing Winterland before it closed then buying his s/t release but, heck, his father died when he was a kid? wow.
One of the best interviews with a performer I have ever witnessed. Sicks Stadium & Fosbury Flop,... talk about a quick trip down Memory Lane. That paying off Kevin for the nice words was/is funny too!!!!! May GOD Continue to Bless Both of YOU!!!!!
too cool!
I saw Randy twice, at the Roxy in LA in the late 70's, and at the Hollywood Bowl in the early eighties. Amazing!!!!!
At one point, he took a big hit off a water-pipe (at the Roxy) and kept soloing!!! Then held a bottle of beer with his teeth, leaning his head back, and drank it all, and kept soloing!!!! He cruised through the audience, jammed right up on ya!
Energetic and entertaining!!!!!!!!
Hey Randy, met you you in Whitehorse Yukon when Kid Crysler and the Cruisers played at the Show boat lounge. Awsome time for me. Loved those days
Randy carries the torch the best that he can! to me,he gets instant props!
Hendrix isn't easy to play.some stuff yes but a lot of it takes time! this cool cat plays well! please come to Boston mass. guys !!!!

Wow, I've seen lots of Randy's shows on youtube, but I have never seen him in an interview. He seems like a really nice guy. I loved the story about him seeing Jimi's boots as a kid. Hope you guys have loads of success on your tours & DVD sales. Take care!
Randy you are awesome: great talent humble man and his manager is also great
What a nice, honest guy. I'd love to catch his show.
What a wonderfull interview AND filmed on Holy Ground to top it all off.
Thank you for sharing brother.
Randy is the greatest fucking musical force and showman still alive today in my book.
And the one and only true channeler of Jimi's Spirit hands down.
There is something deep and profound and spiritual goin' on in the room when you watch him play,it's mindblowing.

WOW Fantastic....@@@
Such a cool guy. Hope I get to catch his show some day.
Come to England Randy 👍🏻🏴
Saw this guy around 1980 at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento. Put on a great show. He jumped down from the upper balcony, must have had a wire.
Randy Hansen should tour the UK!
He plays in Germany every year.
I can't get to Germany when tours there because of work commitments.
James Krys Germany isn't the UK
He lives here in Seattle. Next time I see him I'll relay the message. I know the Beatles used to take a boat to Hamburg. Just sayin'.
James Krys Cool to see "Here in Seattle." I was born and raised here in Seattle. I'm living near South Park. I'm going on vacation to the U.K. early next year and I can't wait to visit all the rock and roll historical places related to Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, Peter Green, Jeff Beck, Mott The Hoople, T-Rex, David Bowie, and Jimi.
thats whats happening allright angels i know it happened for me just along way from you good vibes randy and your band
