    Just so you guys know, NEVER EVER add oil unless your reading below the fill line on your dipstick, adding to much oil can actually starve your engine of lubricant, overfilling will cause what's referred to as a hydro lock via bubbles from cavitation that prevent oil from getting where it actually needs to even tho there's more in tbere.
    Do not add half a gallon of oil unless your below the fill line on your dipstick.

    Love Tennessee! We vacationed in Nashville, drove to Memphis to see Graceland, and drove back. Beautiful all along the way. I'm an RV'er and love you truckers, and I really like your channel because you use your phone for route planning and communicating. That's the direction everyone is going and it's great to see how technology is helping everyone while seeing this great Country of ours. I use Trucker Path for fuel stops and Apple Maps for directions (and a Garmin inReach so family can track our travels). I have a new 2023 Ford F-150 for towing our camper, I already installed my Ham radio in it, and a CB will be next so I can talk with you all again on the road. Peace and safe travels! • @truckingwithrex
      @truckingwithrex  11 месяцев назад +4

      Yes you can see it through the prime app when maintenance services is due and when. Like oil changes, chassis lube etc. As a lease driver I pay for that. I can have it done at a prime yard or at a truck stop. I pay for it with my prime fuel card then prime will deduct my paycheck for the amount. Hope this helps!

    very informative channel looking to switch from reefer otr to tanker otr - can you consider showing how to get a sample of a loaded trailers product for the customer or explain it & for temperature controlled loads, is there a temperature control in cab of the truck? I don't see any temperature control operations on the nose of the trailer or cat walk area with the hoses, assuming its in the cab... thank you, stay safe out there & successful!

    • @truckingwithrex
      @truckingwithrex  11 месяцев назад +1

      Almost all receivers will get sample themselves but next one that makes me do this I’ll film and explain. As far as any temperature controls their are none. When you hook up the intransit heat lines radiator fluids flows from the engine block to the tanker. Temperature would range from 180-210 degrees Fahrenheit (roughly).

      @@laura101cookieswe’re governed by rules set by the federal dept of transportation. Everything we as truckers do has to b done by their rules. We can’t perform any kind of work while we’re not in the right duty status. If I say I’m off duty, then I can’t do any kind of work related stuff. I can’t unload a trailer. I can’t hook to a trailer. Hell I can’t even clean my windows while I’m off duty. Now most of the time drivers won’t get caught but a snoopy dot officer or safety manager mite b able to find it.
