      There are many Jamaicans now choosing to live in Africa.
      (Ghana. Gambia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia etc.)
      Sadly, many who left JA decades ago are concerned about safety
      for returnees and choosing to go to other countries.
      Some simply want to return to the land of their Ancestors.

    It's so sad that he did not have the urge to teach the young men in Jamaica. Prime minister Holness said he was looking for skilled people to come to Jamaica because he COULD NOT FIND skilled people in Jamaica.

    • @jojoyah_1236
      @jojoyah_1236 2 года назад +2

      Please pass on this message to the interviewee. Many Jamaican workers build houses just like the Ghanaians that is probably the reason why the Prime Minister said there are few skilled workers because the workers take a long time when they don't have tools.

      You can't be serious with that comment perhaps you have been under a rock. Do you not see how they are killing murdering Robin and stealing returnee Jamaicans. Why would anyone in their right mind including myself and others like Mr Rodney return to a place where they don't welcome us but we have to be in fear for our lives after spending so many years giving our blood sweat and tears to someone else's country we're not welcoming hours because our life will be targeted so go someplace that's peaceful and that's Ghana You're not going to be missing anything from Jamaica The landscape is there the agriculture is there The language is there so many similarities. If they want return in Jamaicans to come back to Jamaica they need to fix that place and it's going to take generations to weed out all the violence and crime and corruption that has been submerged and embedded in the country. #not going back

      Too inefficient to do everything manually. That's why machines were invented. But you're right. In the West people's jobs are being replaced by machines and computers and that's a problem. Have to find a balance that serves humanity, not just a few rich humans.
