If we assume the he got alzheimers theory is correct, then i think most of the conversations we see in this horror actually did happen, only he experience them in a scrambled order, some of the conversation maybe even happened years apart in reality. And when his girlfriend woke up screaming might've actually been her reaction to when he was about to hammer her to death. And the old man may very well be himself, what he looks like present day, and the young guy we see is him in his 20s when he maybe commited all the murders. Which would make sense because young people dont usually get alzheimers.
I also realized that her moaning is n the background might just represent the “chemical” released by our brains at the time of death that can create euphoria. Her doing that might just be a metaphor for his brain dying.
I might be crazy by saying this but the more I get confused in horror movies the more I like it because it feels like way more terrifying than just straight storyline same thing as this one.
Ayo, that video had me shook! I couldn't look at the video and watched y'all reaction because I was too freaked out if an unexpected jumpscare was gonna happen. Yo, I'm literally shook and I'm afraid to go to sleep as I'm writing this as of September 8, 2023 at 11:45 p.m.
There's a great film called the Father that cinematically depicts Alzheimer's similar to this. Starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman. I highly recommend it. I actually think it'd make a great reaction from you guys if you start doing dramas one day.
Lol you guys reactions when the credits started. Same for ME I know horror isn’t supposed to have a cheerful ending but I still think it ended on a cliff hanger. I was a bit confused
That same channel also makes some hilarious shorts. It's basically 2 guys and one of them (Curry) likes to make really good horror movies. Kindof like Key and Peele.
I went to see the first Black Panther MCU movie in theaters, this was when I was 19 at the time. It was me, 2 uncles and one of my aunts. Didn't want kids coming along. So we walked, for a while. Took a bus to Chinatown. Saw the movie, it was a damn good time. However... I took the next bus back home, and I'm sitting down near one of my uncles, minding my business as usual. There was this one dude sitting on the opposite side of the bus right where the side doors open up. So I look back and then focused on the front of me. But I got a bad feeling creeping up my spine and I couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, cuz I was looking around, making sure everyone was in specific sides of the bus but that feeling kept bothering me. So the guy on the right of me kept staring at me, but something was off about him. He was at least a few feet taller than me, that wasn't what worried me since I got family watching my back. But this guy, just wouldn't stop staring at me. I didn't know him or nothing but the second or third time I look back, he was staring at me like a piece of meat and that kinda creeped me out, so I quickly turned my head just to ignore him. I bump my elbow on my uncle just to let him know what is going on to my right. And then I stop, look back and I hear some shuffling, and it's the guy who kept staring at me. What took me by surprise was the fact that the dude was fiddling with his pants, so I didn't wanna make too much of a scene. But then... Divine intervention took the wheel. My aunt turned back to look at me just enough for her to notice that something is wrong. She saw the guy who was messing with his pants, made some noise and then the guy ended up leaving the bus through the side doors. Needless to say, I'm probably never taking the bus to a movie theater ever again after that...
ok i was ready to brush this off when i first saw this as i wasnt feeling it but as i watch it again for the second time its starting to make more sense (especially when you see the ending).
@@mimiwalker7629 i do not think anything we seeing is supernatural its all in the head of the boyfriend who might be suffering from alzheimer's . its why as you watching this video it gets more confusing ,sporadic and hectic with people with drastic mood swings . you seeing the day interpreted thru the pov of someone with a deteriorating mind. ... i think the old man also symbolizes alzhimer's and possibly is the grand father he makes reference too in the beginning argument .
I subscribed to this channel because the dumbfounded looks these two 'BROTHERS' do is simply HILARIOUS!! Between one looking like he is about cry, to the other one looking as if he just saw the Holy Grail,........it is pure brilliance, OR, Genius!! Whichever it is, I am thoroughly PLEASURED BY THEM.
Yo! But how would you know it is a demon chair? Because it can look like a nice chair and still have a demon. That chair looked good to me. I don't know, but after watching this you won't see me hunting for free furniture here in NYC. Alzheimer's wild!
It feels like one if the current trends in horror is to take a promising concept, and then just stack a bunch of strange elements onto it until it becomes a disappointing clusterfuck. The idea of a chair that everytime you sit in it, it essential teleports you to another time and place while posessing you for that period in-between, that's a creepy ass concept. Maybe the chair possesses someone to commit a bunch of heinous acts, then when that person dies, they're compelled to donate the chair, starting the cycle over. You could even have this lore develop around the chair, so people actually seek it out, either to destroy it, and failing, or because they want to experience the impact it has on them. But instead, we're left with, oh, it's an old serial killer with Alzheimer's reflecting back his life out of order during his dying moments. It's just like, that's not terrible, but throwing it in with the possessed chair idea is just too much.

When the reaction ends with silence, you know this is good.
Thanks guys for being back your short horror reactions! Missed them
Favorite time of the year!
The actors that played the couple were really good

$2 worth of special effects and this was better than some movies. Very creepy camera work and pretty good acting

I missed u guys horror reactions
Alzheimers? Nah buddy, that was the demon chair.
As soon as I saw the title I thought of Montgomery
This was wild. GOOD PSYCHO THRILLER.
the ending remind me the ending of hereditary for some reason.
I thought the same thing!! Even the actor that played “Reese” looks like the kid who played “Peter’ in Hereditary!
@@iluzshon6That was my first thought fs
Just completely devoid of hope
@@JoyaLewisTheMusician exactly, people don’t like it but an ending like that can and was effective in this SF
I would’ve stopped him from sitting in the chair
