@@T1M-NYTEusually only happens when the MLB roster has a good player already in that position. Like having a 1st basemen trying to get to the Mets with Pete Alonso on 1st already. Happened to me also. Was a SS for the Mets, had to change to 3rd base and got called up 4 games later
I tested this out a bunch. Wanted to play on dodgers, they told me CF is taken (by an 85 overall). I even made a new alt and got my guy to 91 overall before this cut scene (full equipment, full diamond perks) and they still said CF was locked up. They traded me when i said no 3 diff times I tried it out. So its switch, get traded or make a new guy. They did offer me 2 different positions though (rf one run 2b the next) Since dodgers were weak at both spots. One thing you can do is exit out and dont save when you get this cut scene to see if they offer you a diff position a few times if you want.

This is the best build you just need the jordan cleats for the speed
So I think I figured something out. If you player does a small/quick leg stride it’s a faster pitch. If it’s big/slower it’s an off speed pitch. Not sure if it’s true or accurate but might be something to look at 🤔
It could potentially be a helpful indicator to consider during gameplay. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it and see if there’s any correlation between the pitcher’s leg stride and the type of pitch being thrown.

The other ball has gone further because of launch angle. A ball that is higher launch angle and goes further may not overall go as far as lower launch angle. It’s like a liner and a pop fly hitting the same point on the wall. Projected total distance
yup. its based off of where the parabola hits the ground level with the batter, not where it hits the stadium or the scenery around it. If it was based off that, the longest HR we know of wouldve been like 440 or something lol

Anyone else feel like this is a slap in the face compared to past years? everything is being 30-40K packs while there is no way to get them for free, while also limiting how much Stubs or XP you can get?

I get the interviews can be annoying. But you get player of the game practically every time cause you tend to do so well, expect it at this point. and ya missed the Single-season hits record interview.

If you hit 250 HRs in a season, just make sure you can hit another 50. The game resets you to zero HRs once you reach 250 HRs.

The fact that Andrew gets confused about the distance of home runs hit, doesn't make any sense. Andrew obviously forgets that it's not the same distance all the way around from foul pole to foul pole. That's the reason why some home runs look farther or shorter than other home runs.
no thats not it either. yes that plays a part in it, but its actually based off parabolic motion using basic kinematics. It's based off of where the parabola would meet the ground level to the batter, not where it meets the buildings. With a different exit velo and angle, A harder hit ball that goes higher and looks like a further HR based on the buildings might be shorter than a softer hit ball with a lower angle (somewhere in between 40-45 degrees being optimal).
