The look Mary gave Ben after his comment about the driving seat. Priceless

When living in Hawkhurst I used to love doing this on a Saturday. Train into London Bridge then along the Thames and a past all the monuments. Back to the Burrough Markets for breakfast. Thanks for bringing back great memories.

I'm currently coming back from injury & training for a half marathon (my third) & this week has been so rough bc I lost my dearest Nana & grief has been kicking my ass. Looking forward to my long run this evening to just spend time with myself & keep pushing forward as I know she wants me to do. Your vids are, as ever, a bright spot.

I can get to the Thames path from home. One of the many areas i haven’t explored properly yet. I feel a summer challenge coming on. Not the whole lot maybe 10 miles get off the beaten track. Thank you for the Sunday motivation.

I love running along the Thames Path and you’re right, it makes such a nice change to your usual scenery. I’m actually doing this in a few weeks time and I can’t wait. I’ll be starting from Greenwich and will be letting my friend lead the way 😊😊

Mate I watched this vid after having a big day and not getting any motivation to push for a run... 8:30pm i strapped on the headlamp in about 5deg weather and went out for 45mins. My first marathon is in Nov and I'm trying to stick to a plan and youtube how i'm travelling along with all the other aussie dad stuff i get up to! Thanks for the positive vids that always inspire me!

The Thames Path is my favourite place to run, I’ve done the 100k twice & am doing it again in September. I signed up for the 100 miler is 2018 but chickened out & withdrew 🙈 It’s the night section that really scares me. But hopefully one day…

I found this channel a few days ago. Watched a bunch of videos and then I find this one running on my daily path. Small world. I wonder the path they took from Battersea to the wetland. I've not found an easy car free/road crossing route.

Always sad to part ways with a comfortable running route. What is also really nice though is revisiting it after a layoff. I've put in 1000s of miles on the same routes in my lifetime and when I've moved, it's been tough to say good-bye to them. However, -- and I suspect this will be your case eventually too -- you will return and the feeling of re-running a familiar route is so nice. You are a different person -- different runner from the one you left that route and it's a great opportunity to reflect on what has changed and what hasn't.
As always, I enjoy your work / videos. Would love to see a video on downhill racing. Or at least your strategy on running a race that is primarily downhill but eventually levels out. What strategy do you take?

Do the TP100! Did it this year as my first 100! The flat is deceiving and it’s not as easy as you think! But good race !

Awesome scenes on that 28k long run, Ben. My running training is gearing up for my 1st marathon ever in 2 weeks (at age 50), unfortunately it is virtual because of Covid here in Thailand closing races in the South, but hopefully I can drag a few running mates along to drag me thru to 42! (My longest run ever was last week - only 32ks).
PS Have to start at 3am before the sun raises my heart rate thru the roof when it comes into force at 7:15am

Hey Guys. Just sharing my experience. So my marathon in Wellington with 5 days to go was posponed because of the area going to level 2 covid scare so no crowds over 100. Now postponed until October so I ran a virtual locally in Auckland anyway. Goal and PR was achieved 3:26 so very happy with that. Safe travels to Thailand.

Having a strange confused feeling I can only imagine would otherwise happen if Ant and Dec swapped sides on Saturday Night Takeaway, although Car Chat is of course much more iconic ;). Looked like a fantastic Thames Path run. I get to run parts of the Thames path through Oxfordshire but the vast majority of that is trails

Fingers crossed for your race. I'm sure you'll crush it. Great to see your excitement about moving to Asia. Wish you well.
This will sound a bit bitter and I'm sorry about that, but is there any specific reason why you decided that people who follow you on YT and don't have IG account cannot participate in the competition? Makes me feel unwelcomed.
