It is a good video, just a quick one you don't need bumper off to remove fog lamps, there is a hole under the fog lamp 1x 10mm nut and the fog lamp comes out the bumper

3:20 I was taking my bumper off to replace a broken fog light today, after watching your video, I kept praying "please don't snap, please don't snap". Then when I reached that bolt, I found out it was already snapped by whoever tried to take it off last time. Damn! And same as you, the one on the driver side came out easily without any problem.
Just bought VIII gen Civic and regret already when realized how much work you have to do to change front indicator bulb 🙄 craaaazy

At 1.20 those 2 holes under the bumper are access points for a 10mm socket and extension and u can pop out the whole spot light as easy as that, thanks for the video tho, I used it to take the bumper off one one side and then discovered the easier way!
Yes I've heared about this now 😂. But I will say you can only access through those holes at one side as the other side is blocked by the resonator for the standard air box. I've taken mine out though so I can now get through both sides 👍🏻. No worries 😁

To confirm just checked through the paperwork and history Paul's name is on there and the reg he had on the car! I brought this car 2 weeks ago noway 🤣 the drives fog light bulb have just gone so good to know they are LEDs 🤣🤣🤣

@@FNLEW it does look like it's been looked after in the past, reading through the history, iv had it 2 weeks and already changed front shockers, drop links, top mounts, flushed the coolant and replaced with Honda coolant the blue stuff, getting it all treated and undersealed 1st of March, replacing the clutch the 18th of March with a full service, timing chain getting done April the 18th, changing the rear beam for a brand new one along with new rear shocks, it's had new brake pads and discs all round and a new caliper, I also want to upgrade the water pump replace the thermostat hosing and upgrade the radiator at some point 🙂 so if you are still in touch with him you can say it's in good hands 😆

Turning my gt by removing fogs and fitting non gt blanks. There must be an easier way of doing this than removing the front bumper
On one side there's a hole underneath you can use to unscrew the fog but on the other side there's some intake baffling in the way so unless you remove it all you have to take it off. Only other way is through the wheel arch liner.

I think they're just trim clips mate or body clips. It's a really common shape and they do large and small depending on where the clip is. There's loads on eBay 👍🏻
Does the Carbon Bonnet let in the rain?... that put me off buying one. How do the rain guards work? Thanks
I've heard it can do yes. I'm guessing they just redirect the water aside from the engine.

They have covers over the vents that redirects the water to drip down not effecting the engine bay.

Thank you, but I'm sorry I don't know the exact bulbs he used. If you put LED fog bulbs fn2 in ebay in sure they'll come up 👍🏻
I can take my fog lights out without all that mess.. theres a hole beneath the bumper that can take you to the screw that holds the fog light
You're half right. This hole is only accessible on one side as the other side is blocked off by the air box silencer down by the passenger fog light.

Luckily there's two holes underneath I didn't know about where you can unbolt the actual light.

Not at all but I think it's only the drivers side on a type R that you can get to it with.

There's another way described in the pinned comment or you can take your arch lining off and go through that way.
