    This was a pretty fun game, it was pretty hard but I still managed to beat it without dying, but man was some of the bosses hard and the Joker was way too easy. -

      As was the case of most SunSoft NES games, the soundtrack was composed by Naoki Kodaka, who composed a lotta stuff for SunSoft back then.

      Ya, the jump button had subtle strength control so you could do a small hop-jump, or a full-on Bat-leap to grab the tippy corner of an overhang. Like Ninja Gaiden, just WHERE you chose to jump determined how successful you were, as well. But unlike NG's constant-pace forward onslaught, Batman's movements had a weight to them because he crouched before the jump, something you had to compensate for.

      Yeah, but I think people didn't care about it as much back then. I mean; in the film, Keaton's Batman blows up a factory along with every person in it, just because it was where the Joker was making his chemicals. Oh; and afterword, he tries to gun down the Joker with his plane, killing several of his goons in the process. Nowadays, when Afleck's Batman blows up a warehouse full of people and is shown shooting guns in a dream sequence, everyone on the internet is up in arms.

    Have not played this one. Wow, bossess movement in this game is cool 😆. Bruce throw Jack/Joker to his death in person...no Joker's legs attached to the statue scenario 🤣🤣🤣. Great playthrough by Spqzbo4 and great posted from World of Longplays here 👍👏🍺.

    Lot of memories. I remember playing this game and finishing it 'a la speedrun' without loosing a life for sport. You can achieve this when you absolutely love a game and know it by heart, it becomes a ballet with the joker :) it hurts when I see the player here falling into acid or electric field when you just need to fall against the wall and wall jump. This move was revolutionary at that time.

    • @Nesmaniac
      @Nesmaniac 8 лет назад +7

      I read that batman and the TMNT's once had a deal made were batman would supply the turtles with pizza in return for delivering him April O'Neil ever so often, all in secrecy of course. Joker had a deal with the Shredder he provided Shredder with the secret ooze in return for Shredder's foot clan bringing him all the makeups he needed. Supposedly these deals led directly to the scenario that played out in this game.

      The one where he fights Shredder, stupid. And Shredder's facing the other way for almost the entire fight while Batman fires dozens of rockets at him, like in the game here. You remember.

      @@diegolemos6763 it has unlimited continues tho, so you just keep going until you beat that hard level. Basically no life limit, as you keep your ammo after using the continue button. If you exhaust all your lives on boss level you need to replay the level prior to the boss.
      Its annoying and very difficult but beatable.
