Son Young Ki's footwork looks amazing. So fluid and natural. I rarely see athletes in any sport with that type of athleticism. I think Korea needs to get better foil coaches. Their talent is being underutilized. Foil is a very cerebral sport. You really need to tailor your tactics to each fencer.
I don't think it's possible to overstate how awesome this bout was. Just about every touch was incredible and the fencers' movement up and down the strip combined with the intimate close recording (which is honestly better than most official recording's I've seen despite the shaking and out of focus moments) make this bout a real treat to watch. 10/10 recommend, the only thing that could've made it better is if Son made the score a bit closer (he still got some great hits in tho). 1:01, 4:15, 9:15, 1:13, 1:26, 2:01, 3:13, 7:34, 10:00, 10:14, 10:25...just muah
