Pricing a five-in-a-row serial number on eBay

If there are a lot of one particular digit in a serial number on a dollar bill, that can command a premium. Even more so if the similar digits are in a row!
In this video, I look through sold auctions for comparable five-in-a-row serial numbers for a particular $1 bill. You might even have one right now in your wallet or purse!

I have a $1 bill with the serial number that has 5-8's in a row. I heard that some really like the number 8, so I don't know. I don't think I would want to sell it for just $10, would you?

In the end, it's worth what someone is willing to pay. You can hold out for any price you want, but that doesn't mean you'll get it. Sold auctions show bills that sold and what prices were accepted.

Has only 7 digits did you mean 50000009? If so it depends on denomination also, but six in a row also goes for above face on eBay. I have a video on six of a kind but it includes six in a row also.
