@The One And Only Erazer Even if tiers came back in their full glory, there aren't enough active players to make it work. Unless the robocraft team came out with a massive ad campaign to increase the amount of players, the old superior tier system isn't viable.

You get a certain amount of pilot seats depending on how long you have been playing. 4 year = 4 seats, 3 years = 3 seats and so on. Before I realized you can’t get them any other way, I already sold my pilot seats... RIP

But shouldn't rail guns have no knockback anyways? Considering there is no explosives or force acting on the gun itself? It's accelerating material with magnetic rails.
actually no - Newtons laws of physic... you cant accelerate anythign without a counter acceleration... there are no explosives but the rail still "pushes" the projectile out with electromagnetic effects, so the rail itself will be pushed backwards
Railguns don't use explosives, but they are still launching projectiles. As you need force to launch the projectile, by the Newton's third law which says for each action you need opposite reaction, so there must be knock back.
I have not played robocraft in at least a year or so is "overtiering" the weapons allowed again? I stopped playing after a week when I had a TX bot. You used to be able to put something like a tier 8 rail on a tier 4 bot if you safe enough points on the other parts and get a tiny one shot sniper^^.
