Don thank you, I think I could run that rig all day without charging. It has been working really well and I plan to duplicate it in my house soon.

What solution have you come up with for passive charging of the batteries? Have you hooked them up to the alternator? Put a trickle charger on them that powers on when you power up your vehicle? Running solar? Or do you charge them when you get back to your qth?
Looks like a decent installation. I like how you’re temporarily mounting the PS so you know where you like it.
Do you plan on mounting it permanently later on?
    Keep up the great work!

My plan for the moment is to charge the batteries individually when I get home. I do hope to setup an isolation circuit with diodes to allow them to be charged with the alternator. Also if this system works out well I would like to do the same setup at my QTH and charge with solar. Thank you for watching I hope to see you on the next one.

@@59RadioUSA Sounds like a good plan. I was thinking of doing something similar, but with an inverter, and having the batteries charge off the alternator primarily, and solar secondary.
