Comparison of Bahubali/PS with SLB's sets is like comparing Apples and Oranges.. SLB's sets are limited to a specific place (havelis/rooms) and focus on dance.. the scope of Bahubali/PS is way bugger and the context is not the same... there's no comparison between Rajyabhishek scene or the Statue Erections scene in Bahubali.. to anything that SLB has come up with.. no dobt SLB is master of lighting when it comes to shooting grand dance sequences

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, I think, is greatly influenced by Style of Guru Dutt, a legendary film director. Just watch his picturization of "Waqt ne Kiya Kya Hasee Sitam" from Kagaz ke Phool and/or "Ye Mahelo Ye Takhto Ye Taazo ki duniya" from Pyasa. He was master of using lights very effectively and taking of shots was something that rarely any directors can think about.
