People who don't know why they are wearing Yellow 💛 colour dresses here it is related to Basant Panchmi festival celebrated at Saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliyas Dargah by his followers started by his pupil Hazrat Ameer Khusro in 12-13th century it is said when Saint's dear Nephew Khwaja Taqiuddin Nuh died by illness he was in grief for months and stopped smiling this troubled Khusro and he decides to bring smile on his Auliya face then one day he saw across the Yamuna river rally of Women singing and dancing who were celebrating Basant Panchami wearing yellow clothes and yellow mustard flowers offering to the nearby Kalika Devi Temple it interest's him and he asked them why you offering Yellow Mustard flowers then they replied it will please the deity then Khusro also participated in the festival of Basant panchmi celebration of spring wearing yellow cloths and putting yellow flower in his hairs with dholki he sang for Auliya and that made him smile after a long time and ended his grief. it is celebrated till this day by his followers at Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya's Dargah in Delhi as moment of joy People wearing yellow cloths offering yellow chadar and yellow Flowers also it is celebrated all over Prepartician North India as Basant Panchami irrespective of Religions be it Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims as Welcome of Spring 🌼 and this Kalam of poetry "Sakal Ban" is written by Tota-E-Hind (Parrot of India) 🇮🇳 Hazrat Ameer Khusro deciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya 😊
And that's why when they are spinning..it's looking like yellow flowers blossoming... what a perfect visualisation of the lines.

I'm so happy that Bhansali sir decided to open his music label. I hope his label gives more classical raag based music which currently is lacking in bollywood sadly. But i'm hoping with bhansali music that they'll create more classical music songs like this. I hope they give more chances to great singers too. Great job to the whole team. I just watched the complete series. What an amazing piece of art. The last words of this series about women empowerment steal the show hats off to the whole crew. The direction, scenes, themes, dance, songs , music, acting, locations everything is mind blowing. Although Alamzaib and Tajdar had sad ending but it's such an amazing twist in the series. Lajjjo had very short appearance but she did a amazing job. Waheeda played an amazing role and the dialogue delivery of sanjeeda is superb I didn't imagine the high acting rate from her. Manisha and Sonakshi fight joind the series in two rows their acting was also unimaginable. Last but not the least Aditi Rao hydri she's the main lead of the series. Her eyes is everything I love her role her acting skills and her dancing in the series. Lots of love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 #the best series in the history of Bollywood series ❤
Let me confess manisha koirala completely stole the show. She is one fresh breath of air ❤
Versatile actress and am glad she came back with good project i hope she will continue working as a lead.
I think she is the antagonist . The way she taunted her by flicking her Nath as if successfully claiming her in the house after her strong resistance seems cold as well as fearful. Nath is often associated with husband and Ladies of the night wear it for *"those"* reasons . So flicking her Nath as if mocking her maiden sentiments that will soon be ruined.

People who don't know why they are wearing Yellow 💛 Basant Panchami is a Hindu festival believed to honor the goddess Saraswati, who symbolizes knowledge and wisdom. Yellow is considered the color of knowledge & wisdom, and in Hinduism, Saraswati is associated with it. On Basant Panchami, people wear yellow clothes, offer yellow flowers to Saraswati, and make yellow dishes. It is believed that by doing so, Saraswati will be pleased and bless us. Show an actor of her generation who has such versatility be in acting or in songs or even in the languages. Even Madhuri said in KJo’s show that Manisha was competition for her but this new generation failed to acknowledge her contribution to the cinema. The story goes that Nizamuddin Auliya, who was unmarried himself, was deeply attached to his sister’s son, Khwaja Nuh. But the child died young and Nizamuddin was devastated by the loss. Amir Khusro couldn’t bear to see his master so afflicted and brought low, and tried desperately to make him smile again.
One day walking outside Nizamuddin’s house near the Khwaja’s khanqah at Chilla, Amir Khusro saw a group of village women walk by, dressed in bright yellow clothes and carrying mustard flowers and singing and clapping with guileless abandon. They were celebrating spring, they explained to the puzzled Amir Khusro, and were on their way to the Kalkaji temple where they would delight their goddess with song and dance. Enchanted by the story, Amir Khusro dressed up in a yellow sari, bedecked himself with mustard flowers, and appeared before Nizamuddin Auliya singing lusty songs in praise of spring. The saint saw his favourite disciple in the yellow sari and was startled out of his torpor. He smiled, and ever since, Basant Panchami has been celebrated thus at the Dargah of Nizamuddin.
Perhaps, the song Khusrau sang to his master that day was : फूल रही सरसों सकल बन (phool rahi sarson sakal ban)@@anu3971
@@av1421 I commend you for making the effort to write about the background of this song. I appreciate your attempt to narrate how Amir Khusrow was inspired by the sight of women dressed in yellow in mustard fields, singing merrily on their way to worship and please their goddess which made Khusrow want to please Nizamuddin. The costume designer must've deliberately dress the actresses in yellow for shooting this song. But it is really sad that few people will notice such beautiful things in the art of film-making. Most people will simply get stuck on the Hindu - Muslim issues in the comments' section simply because the writer of this song is Khusrow.

Alot of words are missing from this song written and originally composed by Hazrat Amir Khusro in Raaga Bahaar... A legendary director like SLB who is so possessive about his creative aspects should have had paid attention to this.. but nevertheless thank you SLB for bringing and showcasing this masterpiece of Our Indian Music and Culture ❤
Kon kehate hai ki 50 plus hero hi film aur Aisa grace dikhaa sakte hai Heroine bhi kuch kam nahi hai Aaj saabit ho gaya my favourite manisha koirala ko dekhkar She is so beautiful graceful and jabrdast actress❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤love her❤❤❤❤❤
Finally Raja Hasan is getting the fame he deserves...
I hope Raja Hassan is given more opportunities in movies ,,he deserves it
Khamoshi to Heeramandi , that's the full circle for MK ❤ deserves every bit of praise. Richa Chaddha you are pure...
Manisha koirala taking our breathe away ❤
Awww
हजरत अमीर खुसरो.. सकल बिन.
गजब 👍👍👍
Hi from New York, I just saw the much awaited pilot of heeramandi on Netflix and absolutely loved it. Sanjay leela bansaali is a genius and I plan to binge watch rest of the 7 episodes tonite. The female cast is beautiful, mesmerizing , story is brilliant and it’s based on roughly true events because heeramandi existed in Lahore “tawayaffo ki gaali”👍
By looking this trailer, I felt like Manisha is playing role of antagonist. So it will be interesting to see her after so long ❤🎉
In my views, if we take a symbolism from Alice in Wonderland,
Manisha Koirala is white queen
Sonakshi Singh is Red Queen and the shy lady introduced at the beginning is Alice.
According to imdb the shy girl who’s introduced to the court is said to be Malikajaan’s (Manisha Koirala) youngest daughter and Sonakshi amd Manisha jis character’s are or will be fighting for the court’s throne let me put it that way..
Woww Thank you!!

Extremely excited South Korean SLB fan here! This is the only reason I'm not canceling my Netflix membership!
Aww, respect to you for appreciating Indian talent! It will definitely be a memorable one! ❤🤗
Really I kinda think you are lying 🤔 how can you understand language/culture
@@BholeBaba503 Uh, I read subtitles? And I never claimed to understand SLB movies as Indians do. Even if I learn Hindi and can watch his movies without subtitles I know that I can't. I have read about Indian history and culture to better appreciate the movies but I know that I can't understand it in a way that an Indian born & raised in India sees them. And that's fine, all humans can enjoy art that was created by people from various backgrounds. Do you not enjoy Hollywood movies, or any other movies that were not made in India? I also enjoy movies/dramas from China, and although Korea has a greater geographical and cultural proximity to China than India there are still some things I find very foreign or unfamiliar, yet also relatable and fascinating. SLB also deals a lot with doomed love/desire, which is an extremely relatable theme. He even made an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (one of the best I think). There's also the aspect that one can relate to different stories based on their own experiences or knowledge. Many of SLB's heroines are sublimely beautiful but also very human and relatable because they suffer from oppressive systems yet strive to uphold their love and dignity. Devdas reminds me of highly educated but weak-willed tragic young men caught between Westernized modernity and family expectations who often described in literature written during Korea's Japanese colonial era. Heeramandi is not out yet but I know that it's going to be about tawaifs, and that Korea once had similar courtesans called gisaengs. Of course they're not exactly the same, but the difference is also what makes the stories more intriguing. Also, SLB movies are just beautiful to look at. Who with sight can't appreciate that?
0:33 The way manisha was looking at her *OHH MYYY!!* I would've fainted if someone was looking at me with that much damn grace and feminine energy!
संजय लीला भंसाली जी का संगीत फिल्म के सफल होने कि गारंटी बन जाती है।
एक बेहतरीन कलाम अमीर खुसरो का मजा आ गया

manisha you nailed it the real diamond of bollywood ❤❤❤. so glad to see you finally with a great film maker.
Oupopular opinion : in the era of unwanted overwhelmed twists and turns, bhansali grips simple storyline with impactful performances .
Meanwhile me here for lyrics...to experience the 700yrs old era...how Hindus were celebrating festivals back then ....yellow flowers...yellow cloths💛🌻MAA GAURI KA SHRINGAR ❤
It is such a joy to get to see the batch of actresses from the 90s in the screen. They bring a lot of maturity and such their presence electrifies the screen. So good to see Manisha Koirala after so long!
