This app is almost literally a lifesaver. I'm an amateur artist that had no idea where to start with figures and every drawing was a daunting task involving hours of combing Google for references. This app saves SO much time and drawing is now a task i can sit down to anytime and actually ENJOY instead of dreading it and only drawing twice a year. Hi great apps congrat I love it , what about a quick button on interface to lock both feet and then you can find a contrapposto pose really quickly, just rotate hips ?
Hi Celine, if I understood correctly you can do that already, you can select feet and belly and lock them (one at the time though) ,at that point you can rotate or translate the hip only to create the contrapposto you want.
@@mauri4912 Hi know you can :) it would have been cool to have a button to lock both feet, more faster :) anyway your app is already awesome can't wait to see more.
Been using this app for a few months now and I love it! I commented before about where to post suggestions and you said RUclips comments were the best place so I have a few ideas/requests for your consideration: - I'd love to be able to scale body parts, I'd mainly use this for the head when drawing characters with more anime proportions but can also imagine it being useful for other types of characters. It would also be amazing if you could save your configurations so that you don't have to recreate a character each time. - Model overlays could be great too, something you can toggle on and off. Some ideas for these would be muscle locations and more obvious wrapping lines that show the form of the model. These don't have to be anything fancy, just a 2D projection onto the model. - Alternate models. These are probably a lot of work, so I understand if it's not an option, but if it were possible I'd love to be able to switch the type of model (preferably without resetting the pose or anything). Having a more blocky, geometric model for example could be useful. - A lesser version of this, and something I hope is easy to implement based on your recent Twitter posts, would be animal heads (props, like the higher-poly head you already have) that you can apply to the model's head. This would be insanely helpful for anthro characters because foreshortening animal heads sucks. A cat and dog would probably cover most situations. Hell, if you want to get fancy maybe it's a single 'animal head' prop that morphs into multiple animals, like the sword. - Finally I'd really like a little more movement in the hips where they connect to the legs, much like how the shoulders can be moved. I'm not sure how anatomically correct this would be. But poses I've been studying use a lot of exaggeration in this area to create a clearer distinction between the shoulder and hip angle. It may lose some level of realism but I think it could help make overall more dynamic and pleasing poses. Maybe this could be a toggle so people who don't like it don't have to use it. Just want to reiterate that the app is already amazing, these are just suggestions on things I'd like to see, but either way I'm really excited to see what you've got planned for the future!
@@mauri4912 I can't believe on the very same day that I post a comment with the suggestions I've been thinking of for the past few weeks, you update the app and knock it out of the park! So excited about this version, I hope you consider some of the other ideas I've mentioned for a possible 2.1 but I'm super hyped by 2.0. By far the best posing software I've ever used on any device, you deserve a lot more attention on this project.
@@Metal-Spark Thanks I wish I have more time for this project, you guys always have very cool ideas and I would love to try to implement them all. I am now about to change job and I can foreseen a very stressful time ahead, I hope I will still find some time to keep Poseit up and running.
@@mauri4912 Would you consider reaching out to some other art youtubers to talk about the app? It just needs to be seen by more people and the quality will speak for itself. That won't change the situation with your new job (I hope it's not too stressful!) but maybe if you're earning more from the app you could set up a patreon or earn enough from purchases/ads to dedicate more time to it? I know Adam Duff (Lucid Pixul), BoroCG and Ergo Josh are big fans of useful art tech.
HI mauri, What about an obj export of mannequin in cool pose to to serve as basemesh in nomad sculpt for ex, can't wait for next update thanks again for this awesome app :)
Hi! Yep I think it will be part of the next release, I also am looking forward to finish up the last update! I had to put it on hold for few reasons but hopefully I will pick it up soon again. Thanks for the feedback and encouragement
@@mauri4912 Really ? you can do that ? I will be ready to pay for an application that allows to export mannequin in 3d format, that would be great :) specially for nomad or procreate.
Yes sure, select the hip and translate it with 2 fingers drag. I recommend to watch the 10 min tutorial called "how to poseit" here on YT. I really show a lot of tricks there.
I really love this app,,its been a month since i used thiss Can i have some suggestions? I just want a Facial expressions poses caz thats the one i struggle of HAHAHA Thank u for dis wonderful app:>
I love all the morphing and pre-animated props; but I have to ask, could you make it so we can change the colors of props and copy props with the customized properties? The ability to lock axis rotations would also be nice. 👌 I also have a 4th idea, but it's not as needed as the first ones I've stated. The idea is that maybe we could add saves into an animation bar. By adding the saves into bars is a preferred order, the posables could transition into the next frames. If you like this idea, I ask that you leave it for last, as I understand that saving transitions could cause complications. Especially if new props are taken out or placed inside a transition bar that can't be transitioned to/from between saves. However, if you do end up working on the 4th idea, the ability to freeze, slow, or speed-up between select transitions would be handy to help avoid jancky animation. Especially if saves have to transition from from A to C though B over a smooth transition. But I think having the ability to tighten or loosen between sections of the transitions would help most. But that too could cause complications. Especially when you also consider the color sliders also having to transitions. Not to mention changes to the props. So beware of complications all around. Complications everywhere. 🙌
Hey.So for starters, super good job you did there👍, keep up the good work(but don't exerted yourself 😅).This app was really helpful to me. And would to like your thoughts on a suggestion I have: do maybe plan to give some sort of combine function for certain props (like the shapes props) which simply sticks the props together in one simple object
I know it might a bit of stretch when put in real time due to you're thight schedule you have and ressources. I think the ability to stick the shape props could very useful if we need to simulate an object (like a specific weapon/accessory) that you maybe won't be able include in the next updates as alternative and instead don't have to overflow with a lot of prop.Sorry it was long, I simply want your thoughts on this & maybe consider. Thank you &keep up the good work!!

@@mauri4912 I would totally love to watch that, Mauri, Man you have my respect, I am new to anatomy so I am having trouble figuring out poses so i tried different apps which offers poses till date I think I am the only person that tried each and every one out but none of them are as good as yours the flexibility the UI and what not ❤️🔥, I know I should not compare but this is just being me true to my core to find your wonderful app and be overwhelmed, sorry if I said too much 😂, I will always keep supporting you and if you happen to make any wonderful tutorials on gumroad or wherever you make it available, let us know, Thank you again, know that you are a rare gem and a talent... @@Scrappytwentyfourseven thank you, you are too kind, it really means a lot for me to know that there are other artists out there that find my work useful, that was the hope I had when I tried to publish this app and it is the reason why I keep throwing so many hours at it. I have to say after the last sprint to publish this 1.3.6 version I am a bit drained and I already found some more bugs I need to fix :) maybe I should take a break and make little video like the one you mentioned instead.
Hi Karla, I can't really say much as of course I am biased :) I believe at the moment it's the most convenient one since I am the only developer working on it and it is a side project of mine. I made it so that there are no pay walls and you can access any aspect of it with a dedicated ad.You can also remove all ads forever with a donation that you consider fair. What really drived me forward was the interaction and posing approach that I had in mind. It's a bit peculiar but if you watch the video "how to Poseit" you will quickly understand the key concepts behind it.
@@mauri4912 hello again i was wondering are you gonna make poselt for steam and if so how much will it cost cause i would pay anything for an app like this one
@@karlamichelle4946 Karla thank you so much for your enthusiasm, I really appreciate it! Publishing on steam is in my radar since long time and potentially I could even do that already, the problem is that the interaction system is based on touchscreen inputs. I need to spend sometime and think about a good porting for mouse and keyboard and implement that, also right now I am in the middle of a pretty huge feature implementation that might be a game changer. After that my plan is to implement a hand pose customization and then look at a PC porting. Hopefully it won't take too long
Hey thanks a lot!! you can tap on the mannequin icon, then on top of the predefined poses gallery there is a floppy disk icon, tap that to switch that gallery to your save gallery. I noticed more then one struggled, I will make it easier to find in the next update!
Great apps congrat :) may be the best on ipad for posing, look like 3D body kun :) can we in future update scale part of model like for ex : leg, head or just torso ? and what about option to show horizon line line? can be useful if you want export to procreate (for ex:) to create perspective guide easily.
Hi! I’m the guy who wrote about the "save pose" button. I’m texting you here, because I didn’t find your email address.🤪 Your advice helped, thank you! There were actually duplicate files. I also wanted to ask if it was possible to add a perspective grid with 3rd focal point ? I think, it gonna help to construct the environment around character a lot easier. It would also be great if I could lock one of the axes when scaling objects. thanks again. hope you'll like these ideas )
Mmh the 3d perspective grid sounds juicy and not too complicated to implement. About the scale axis you mean being able to scale only on 2 axis at the same time leaving one untouched? At the moment you can scale either proportionally or on a single axis
@@mauri4912 Yes, you understood me correctly. for example, if I want to get a long, thin stick in the hands of the character. to do this now, I need to manipulate each axis separately. But if you can lock one axis, it will be much faster and more accurate. thus, with the help of quick manipulation of geometric shapes, it will be possible to quickly, for example, give the character a futuristic weapon or put him on an improvised tank :D I hope there will be no misunderstandings due to my bad English.... :)
I have a PC version for development, but the input system emulates the multi touch approach of the mobile devices. It's not your traditional 3 axis gizmo you find in Maya, blender and so on. I am afraid many users would not get that and that I need to implement the traditional system first.

Ah my dear...please stay tuned, something is coming veeery soon :) (damn it even rhymes)
ok the update is live on Android. Check this ruclips.net/video/AfbowwtrJpo/видео.html
HI mauri,
What about an obj export of mannequin in cool pose to to serve as basemesh in nomad sculpt for ex, can't wait for next update thanks again for this awesome app :)
Hi! Yep I think it will be part of the next release, I also am looking forward to finish up the last update! I had to put it on hold for few reasons but hopefully I will pick it up soon again. Thanks for the feedback and encouragement
@@mauri4912 Fantastic news :)
@@mauri4912 Really ? you can do that ? I will be ready to pay for an application that allows to export mannequin in 3d format, that would be great :) specially for nomad or procreate.
I got a question. Is there a way to move the models? For example : I want two models to hug each other, how can I get them close to each other?
Yes sure, select the hip and translate it with 2 fingers drag. I recommend to watch the 10 min tutorial called "how to poseit" here on YT. I really show a lot of tricks there.
@@mauri4912 thank you so very much
@@dramioneforlive7871 you are very welcome!
I really love this app,,its been a month since i used thiss
Can i have some suggestions?
I just want a Facial expressions poses caz thats the one i struggle of HAHAHA
Thank u for dis wonderful app:>
Thanks Shan, I will keep it in mind! I also was thinking about it, I'll see what I can do
I love all the morphing and pre-animated props; but I have to ask, could you make it so we can change the colors of props and copy props with the customized properties? The ability to lock axis rotations would also be nice. 👌
I also have a 4th idea, but it's not as needed as the first ones I've stated.
My God
Idea 3.5... axis sliders option (that you can rotate and reset rotation of) and the ability to lock rotations of the red, blue, or green axis.
Love your app. Please implement a proportion changer.
Thanks, yep I think you will be happy with the new update...once ready 😅
En cada actualización amo más la app!
Algún día espero poder incluir maniquíes de niños o bebés. Sería de mucha ayuda!
Great job!
Thanks Mishogu, you are always there with a nice comment as soon as the update video is out, thanks! Yes kids and teenagers will come at some point.
@@Jinomaru89 yes I think it's a great idea, it is actually ok my to do list already. Thanks for the feedback!!
Hello Mauri thank you for the wonderful app, I very much love the app, I will also recommend my family and friends to purchase,Recently I purchased pro version without add, since I am new I am having a tough time adjusting dynamic poses, could you please do more examples for dynamic poses with pinch gesture
Hi, yes if you guys would find it interesting I can make a video where I show you my thinking while I pose at normal speed. It might not be so entertaining but could clarify some points :P
Kuddos to you ❤️❤️❤️
@@Scrappytwentyfourseven thank you, you are too kind, it really means a lot for me to know that there are other artists out there that find my work useful, that was the hope I had when I tried to publish this app and it is the reason why I keep throwing so many hours at it. I have to say after the last sprint to publish this 1.3.6 version I am a bit drained and I already found some more bugs I need to fix :) maybe I should take a break and make little video like the one you mentioned instead.
@@mauri4912 You are welcome and thank you Mauri ❤️❤️❤️🙏
Hi is there a differences between poselt and other posing apps i heard this one is by far the best
Hopefully it won't take too long
Its really great app… already purchase it.. but i can’t find how to save the project… where is it..?
Hey thanks a lot!! you can tap on the mannequin icon, then on top of the predefined poses gallery there is a floppy disk icon, tap that to switch that gallery to your save gallery. I noticed more then one struggled, I will make it easier to find in the next update!
@@mauri4912 thank you Mauri.. i found it... can't wait for the next update.. 😊
Great apps congrat :) may be the best on ipad for posing, look like 3D body kun :) can we in future update scale part of model like for ex : leg, head or just torso ? and what about option to show horizon line line? can be useful if you want export to procreate (for ex:) to create perspective guide easily.
Thanks!! I am not sure I understand the horizon line feature but about the scaling...I think you will love the next update
@@mauri4912 Nice :)
Hi! Any updates so far? Kinda excited for this app can do. Let me know if there's more to come.
Hi Ken, yes something great (in my opinion), is coming, as usual I am just struggling to find the time to finish it :D but it's coming...
@@mauri4912 omg cant wait.
How did you make the orc face?I have the pro version and cannot find this function
Hi, you mean the jaw? These are 3 cylinders squashed and overlapping the head
@@mauri4912 thank you
good
since when is there a horse?
Poseit vs artpose pls
But how to upload that or upload that video to gallery cause I'm not kinda good at drawing heheh
I am not sure what you mean exactly, sorry? You mean the RUclips video?
Is this available for desktop?
No, sorry, it might be at some point but for now it is only for iOS and Android
Joder que pro
Can u add skins on it?
You have a number of new mannequins now.

Too bad it's not on PC
I have a PC version for development, but the input system emulates the multi touch approach of the mobile devices. It's not your traditional 3 axis gizmo you find in Maya, blender and so on. I am afraid many users would not get that and that I need to implement the traditional system first.
@@mauri4912 well I use my surface for most of my computer stuff but it would be awesome if it's on PC. Either way great app.
