Well, now that I`m addicted to Ys music, I decided to come back to this, since I barely even knew what Ys even was until after a long while. Definitely worth it tbh. I`m not quite sure if you know about any other Ys music like this, but I`ll still ask anyway. I have been meaning to cover Ys music now so its why I`m asking. They have an in-house hair metal band for a sound team, and recently launched 2 more bands(one being a real life production of the fictional pop band featured in their new Tokyo Xanadu game/series)- they do live concerts and everything. Falcom was the first game company to print their OSTs onto CD for sale, as well as the first to add lyrics to game music. The music is Falcom's jam, even if the game isn't good, they'll make you say it sounded awesome- that is Falcom Sound Team JDK's motto.
Holy shiet i never thought you would touch something from the Ys series this is more intense then the original....now im reminded of that dam frog. Actually a really good song you should touch from this game is Armored Bane. That would sound amazing in X style. Or Scarlet tempest from Origins

I & II Chronicles (PSP and Steam) have a great soundtrack too. Ark of Napishtim is excelente too, but, for me, is the worst on the entire franchise.
